The room very very neglected, corners needed to be vacuumed thoroughly, dirty tissues under the tv on the floor, the main door to the room would get caught on the vent above and would not close, the bathroom door was stuck and you could not close it fully and would struggle to open as well. The shower seat would not stay up when using the shower, which meant that you would need to lean over the seat or sit down, the shower curtain did nothing to stop the water from flowing over the tiles which became a dangerous slip in slide, and to add that the shower water pressure did not exist and felt like you werent able to clean yourself properly, no water bottles provided which was a shame as the tap water would not provide cold water. What would normally be an amazing stay at Skycity, turned in to a bit of a nightmare stay, considering the rooms were quite expensive this stay.

Staff were absolutely helpful, kind and friendly. Room was cleaned everyday, bed was comfortable. Only downfall was shower area was narrow, no disabled handrails and tiles were a bit slippery. Small damages in room: 1. Dent in wall above landline phone. 2. Cracked tile in bathroom below light switch and vanity bench.

Staff were great, power sockets were not working- bathroom lights by mirror , and lights by the bed - not working. Felt is was not up to the standard we expected for sky city. Mentioned it to staff when signing out. Staff said next time they will upgrade his stay.
