The room was clean, but the double beds are small. The cocktails at the bar were good, but there is no service, either on the terrace or in the dining room, on a Friday night. The bathtub was all chipped and the coffee maker didn't work. It's really too expensive for what it is.

Excellent hotel with a great staff. It is right in downtown Austin so you walk to most everything. Great place to stay if you are going to the Paramount for a show.

Nice room, terrible service - look elsewhere first

Nice big room, good location, and a nice outdoor terrace. Terrible service, poor management, and dated interior. Don't be tempted by the food and beverage credits -- I was effectively unable to use them, due to poor service. It is fine if all you are looking for is a bed, and is by no means the worst hotel I have stayed at. But the quality is not befitting of the price point. I might stay here again in a pinch, but only if all nearby competitors are booked. Be aware of the large homeless population outside. This will be an issue with any hotel in the area, but does put a damper on the prime location.
