Fantastic stay and service as usual

As a returning guest, The Flint never fails to impress me. This time around, my room was slightly smaller than usual, but since I spent minimal time there, it was no issue at all. The space was well-equipped with everything I needed, and I really appreciated the extra duvet I had requested ahead of my stay being arranged without any hassle. The real standout of my visit was the fantastic service from Lou at reception. As an assistant reception manager in a Glasgow hotel, I was incredibly impressed by their ability to handle a rush of arrivals while staying calm, professional, and welcoming—especially considering they’re new to the role. Beyond the great service, the on-site restaurant was a highlight—the nduja arancini was spectacular! I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll continue to recommend The Flint to anyone visiting Belfast.

City escape

The Flint was a very pleasant surprise. We stayed in a city facing suite containing fully equipped kitchen, pristine bathroom and comfortable bed. Best TV selection ive seen in a hotel in a longtime and free fast wifi. Loved the architecture of the hotel esp the reclaimed original features Enjoyed a few drinks in the adjacent Amelia Hall

This would not be our first choice if we went back. Other than one lady at reception who was great, the other receptionist and head cleaner were completely unhelpful and inflexible. Reception area was “boutiquey” and the entrance was cool but the rest was older, but I suppose more in line with older European hotels. If that’s your thing, it will be fine but there are more modern places around. The noise level is actually unreal. The bar below is so loud….seriously incredibly loud until 2-3 am. I can typically sleep through anything but there was no chance. Overall just fine and a place to crash but I’d suggest going to another hotel unfortunately if you want things a bit nicer.

Great place to stay

Second time staying here and it’s just a great place to stay. Rooms are superb, spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and the location is superb.

Great hotel, great staff, great location. Only let down is the parking. Value parkings definition of 24hrs is "after midnight". So I you park at 11pm and pick your car up at 8am the next day.... boom....£17 with hotel discount. If The Flint negotiated a better deal for drivers using the car park, this hotel would beat all others. It's an amazing place to stay and feels like a home from home.

The Flint NI

Hotel was very nice, service was good at reception and fantastic location. Some room noise due to city centre location furniture quality was just adequate and it wasnt possible to bring alcohol from the bar to the room, due to alcohol licensing.

We loved our room which was spacious with fantastic views and a whole wall of windows as well as ensuit bathroom & kitchen with everything we'd need to cook a meal from scratch. Bad was big and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
