Amazing people, wonderful place to stay.

Not a fancy place by any means, but has become one of our favorite places to stay whenever we visit Bellingham. The beds are incredibly comfy, lots of pillows that are also comfy. Very clean. The humans who work there are absolutely amazing and go beyond what would be considered good service. They all talk with us in the morning during breakfast to make sure everything is going okay, and just to say hello and make conversation. We stayed there over the weekend, bedding and towels were changed whenever we’d come back from adventures. We left on a Sunday morning- that evening our daughter realized she left her bunny in the room and she was devastated. We called, and they found it a few days later. We live about 2 hours south of bellingham, and they coordinated with us to pick up her bunny at one of their friends pizza places closer to where we live. We’ve never experienced such kindness from strangers. We’d like to thank everyone at Coachman Inn, and Mohinder (I think that was his name) for going beyond expectations and making my daughter’s day.

Our experience at the Coachman Inn was very comfortable and pleasant. The property was well maintained and and very clean. Check-in was smooth and fast. The continental breakfast was well stocked. We were pleasantly surprised to see that Housekeeping cleaned our room after our first night. All this at an exceptionally fair nightly rate. We highly recommend the Coachman Inn!

The gentleman at the front desk was so nice and informative! He was very friendly and helpful over the phone as well. The property is clean and quiet and safe. I can see why this place gets so many good reviews! Such a great price, too. I'll definitely be coming back often :-)

For the price, this was a great stay and I'll be coming back. The drive back and forth from Portland is too much for this father of a college student to take in one day so I like to kick back for the night. But I hate paying a lot for a place to crash for a few hours. This place hits the spot. I've stayed at the Days Inn across the street and the room there left much to be desire (I literally pulled the sink out of the countertop when turning the faucet on). The Coachman room was definitely more nicely appointed. The free breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but it was perfectly fine for getting me on the road. The front desk people were very nice and attentive. The only downside is noise from I-5. That said, I was in one of the rooms closest to the highway. And it wasn't enough to keep me from coming back for the bargain price.

Hidden Gem!

This hotel is a hidden gem! It is nothing fancy, but it was clean, and the staff was very friendly. We checked out before breakfast, and they offered coffee, water, and sweet rolls for our morning trip!

An excellent hotel at a great price,its very clean,quiet,and close to downtown Bellingham,there are some restaurants and a gas station within walking distance of the hotel.The staff are very friendly and the room rate includes a continental breakfast,i always stay here when i visit Bellingham!
