The Space:

If you're looking to visit downtown Bend, let this unit be your home base. Unit 108/109, nicknamed "Boaty and Soul", is located at the Pioneer Park Condos just on the edge of downtown. You're 8 minutes by foot into the heart of the city. 



The condo is divided into two spaces, hence the two unit numbers. In one area you've got a living room with a full kitchen, fireplace, air conditioning, bathroom, and patio. The second space is the master bedroom, with a queen bed, a second bathroom and another patio, which we find that guest's often really appreciate.



You're located on the ground level, so no stairs are required to get to your front door. The complex gets its name because it is adjacent to Pioneer Park, one of several public parks in the area that align with the river; and we like call this unit "Boaty and Soul" because you're also a 2 minute walk from the edge of the Deschutes River. There's a convenient trail along the river, and if you appreciate a cool water feature, you'll be happy to check out the irrigation dam with a fish ladder.



The Pioneer Park Condos were built in the 1970s, originally to be Phase 2 of what people back then called a "condotel." However, it split off from the other development and became an independent entity. It has the personal touches of the individual owners of the property, who live in Lake Tahoe and have personally decorated and furnished the unit. They visit the condo regularly and take very good care of it, so you'll see that it feels more like home than it does an investment property.



You also have two separate patio areas connected to the condo, and the owners provide a grill for you to barbecue your steaks or tofu burgers to your heart's delight! With a place like this, what more could you ask for during your time around Central Oregon?

Getting Around:

You are on the edge of downtown Bend, so once you get here you don't necessarily need to use your car. Everything you need is in walking distance.



Other Things to Note:

This is a studio in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.



The studio comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.



Interaction with Guests:

Pioneer Park Rentals Rentals manages more than 15 privately owned riverfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.
