"The air conditioning works only when it's summer and we still have winter settings", which is obviously a choice to save costs. Especially when the room was on the higher floors and it was 26 degrees centigrade outside. I chose a hotel with air conditioning as one criterion. I was made pay for it. But there was none.

Can’t rate this central Berlin hotel highly enough

I stayed here with my three young sons (aged 10, 8 and 7) on two occasions, three days overall, in Mar 25. Safe to say this was the boys favourite hotels of their entire 10 day German adventure. Fantastic spacious room with a big bathroom, beautiful balcony, comfy beds, mini-bar and with a wonderful buffet breakfast and a hotel based treasure hunt activity that resulted in a great little prize for them on their checkout. The staff were all friendly and exceptionally helpful and the location was perfect for exploring Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz with Stadmitte and Unter Den Linden stations a stone throw away which meant getting anywhere in the city was painless… even with three young boys in tow. We will most certainly be back!

Ok stay in Berlin

The hotel is fine, it was conveniently located for my needs, the rooms are ok, nothing amazing but absolutely fine. The bathroom had a strange smell from the drains and wasn’t sparkling clean. I opted not to have my room cleaned for the two nights I stayed, I was supposed to receive a voucher for the bar but that never materialised. I didn’t have breakfast but a colleague did and there seemed to be a good selection with the option of cooked items.

Great location & very clean rooms. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The beds are so comfortable! We also enjoyed the bar downstairs. Would definitely stay here again!
