Know that the facility was constructed in 1934 based on the network/username for login and personal observation. They have upgraded the facility as best as possible given engineering handicaps of an elderly building. The rooms are miniscule and are best for an overnight only. With that said, the staff is EXCEPTIONAL. They went above and beyond to accomodate any reasonable request. We had a before 7 am departure so couldn't do breakfast. They provided a microwave and coffee maker to allow us a quick breakfast. That was outstanding service. The facility is probably as close as you'll get for access to Eldora ski area which is about 25+ minutes away through winding Boulder Canyon.

Room was great, everything worked perfectly, nice location. Choose room 13. Best room IMO. The staff had great customer service. -Hot tub is for the one Executive Suite which booked before I had a chance to get it, but was unclear about the hot tub being for exclusive use only. The sauna is available for guests though. The lady in the office was very kind and went above and beyond for breakfast and with service. Will book again! Thank you for the hospitality!

Will be staying here again. People are awesome. Place give mountain living atmosphere. Way better than a corporate chain hotel when you’re in the mountain. Love this place.

Staff was very friendly and provided great suggestions of places to eat for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Our room was very clean and cozy, enjoyed the hot tub and local restaurants. Very pleased with our experience here! The only “problem” was the WiFi. Other than that I have no complaints! We will definitely be back!

Jana, at the front desk, was very welcoming and personable when checking in. She told me about the complimentary sauna and cold plunge by Ember and Ice that is on the property. The experience was fabulous! Everything in the room was clean except for the sheets. They didn’t seem fresh, so I asked for a new set and received them immediately. This is the second time I have stayed here and I love this little motel and location. The views are gorgeous and you can’t beat the park, creek and mountains just feet away! Everyone was really nice throughout my stay.
