After I received my key I went straight out. No luggage in my room on return. Ice order took a second phone call and over half an hour and to top it off the bathroom light switch didn’t work in the morning. Stunning venue. The hotel facilities, restaurants and pool are absolute standard outs. My only concern was the bathrobe in my room was covered in blood (obviously laundered and re-distributed to my room) and when I called to report it, as I didn’t want it kept in my room, no one seemed concerned that that shouldn’t happen, it seemed as if that was just something normal.

The hotel was perfect and appreciate the upgrade. Wish I had booked 2 nights. Had brunch at the lobby bar but they never placed my order. Finally one attendant sorted it all out when he found out, and in the end didn’t charge me for the meal. Kind of a downer because there’s a lot of spots that people can dine at so more attention needed for training here and having staff that care because your houseguests give you priority over the neighboring eateries. The rest of the reception and spa staff are awesome but it takes a couple of people to ruin what would have been a perfect stay.
