Lovely hotel, had a small issue at check in but Laura fixed it. Great breakfast!! Lovely room. Will definitely be back!!

This hotel is about a mile and a quarters walk from the bus stop that the P&O ferry transfer drops you off at, so it’s a fair walk over cobbled streets if you have a case to drag, but it’s in a very good location otherwise. Perfect for a canal stroll, a walk to the windmills or a 10 minute walk back into the centre to the belfort. Clean spacious rooms, large bathroom and good choice at breakfast. We didn’t need anything else.

enjoyable weekend with friends

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Golden Tulip Hotel although had a little difficulty parking which is a nightmare in Bruges. Parking in Hotel car park is charged at 15 euros/night - not excessive but at most hotels I've stayed at parking for guests is free. Location good - only approx. 10 mins walk to centre of town. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent.

Golden Tulip De' Medici Hotel, Bruges

Pros: Das Zimmer war sauber, Frühstück war gut!
Cons: Bei 60€ Aufpreis für ein Kind würde ich ein Kinderbett und ein eigenes Handtuch erwarten.
Location: Die Lage in Brügge ist sehr gut. Man befindet sich hier in einem etwas ruhigeren Teil der Stadt, braucht aber nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Stadtzentrum.
Gebucht haben wir 2 Übernachtungen mit Kind in einem Comfort Double Room. Um 15 Uhr (Check-In) war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig, haben vor Ort noch ca. 1/2 Stunde warten müssen. Für die zusätzliche Person (3jähriges Kind) haben wir 60€ Aufpreis bezahlt. Dieser Aufpreis bezieht sich wohl einzig und allein auf das Frühstück und die höheren Nebenkosten (Wasserverbraucht etc.). Für diesen Aufpreis gibt es kein zusätzliches Bett (Handtücher etc. waren auch jeweils nur 2mal vorhanden). Frühstück war gut, Zimmer war gut und sauber, Lage ist top (alles fußläufig zu erreichen).
