Great location and great staff, who were extremely helpful! Downside was air conditioning not working and rooms were very hot! Otherwise wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel!

The view from the hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. One side is the Danube River and the Parliament and the other side is the Castle. We enjoyed the location was outside of all the tourist traffic but still very convenient. The staff was just OK. We weren't offered a map at check in or "must see" locations. The room was nice, however, we could hear the folks upstairs which was annoying. The restroom was very dark. No bottled water available in the room. In room coffee was limited to one cup each, each day for a party of two. Overall all our stay was enjoyable but some little details were missing. The Parliament view at night really was the biggest wow of the stay.

We were kindly provided with cake and sparkling wine for birthday celebrations. However the left over cake, plates and glasses were left in for 4 days in the top Despite housekeeping. We had a lovely stay. All staff were lovely. And bar staff were Great. We would recommend the hotel. Lovely location, lovely romms

This hotel has great views both sides of the building and definitely worth paying the extra to have a few of buda castle or the parliament building. Also short walk to buses, trains and trams.

Great location. We walked everywhere but there are also trams to get you around. Definitely recommend a room with a view of Parliament Building across the other side of the river. Make sure to book your tickets for that well in advance or go to the ticket office at 8:00am where there are limited tickets for that day. Buda Castle and Fishermen’s Bastion are up behind the hotel and definitely worth a look. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is yummy and we also had a nice dinner at the restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend this property for a stay in Budapest.

Excellent stay. We went for a milestone birthday and the hotel went the extra mile for us - thank you! River side view was phenomenal. Transport links were great with tram right outside. 5 min walk to metro. Lili at breakfast was very friendly & helpful. Loved the Hungarian specialities at breakfast, especially the homemade ajvar! Steam room & sauna were lovely & clean. Tried out the Ku bakery and cafe in the garden nearby. Room carpets could do with an upgrade but shouldnt affect your stay. Thanks for a fab stay!

I was shocked for a couple of reason. As we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a young lady with reddish hair. She was completely unfriendly and unhelpful. When I was checking in with my family I have asked her to confirm if one of the rooms following our request had the two separate beds and she rolled her eyes weirdly as I dint understand how I was being rude? And said no. I then asked her politely if this can be done as this was requested 2 months ago. Then after entering our rooms unfortunately we were greeted by dead flies on our windows, spider webs across the room ceiling. There was hair in our shower, the toilet brush was COMPLETELY UNSANITARY AND DIRTY. I don’t need to explain in detail as you can imagine what kind of dirt this is. We have raised this to the hotel but nothing was done during our stay. I had requested EVERYDAY for a new set of shower cap and vanity set which usually comes as house cleaning is done but that was not the case even when requested. I was ignored. The staff were simply unfriendly during our stay. Not sure if others experienced the same but early I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, even though, at first when I did book it, I was surprised to read the greta comments. The location is the only thing that saves it because it’s in front of the tram.
