The place is definitly dated inside and needs a "facelift". There are no safes in the units to lock up personal items. One of our two rooms smelled of cigarettes, which are non smoking. We let the front desk know immediately to ensure we were not blamed and charged for it. All they offered was an airfreshener, an keeping the window open did not help. On a positive the location was central with many shops, restaurants, and public transit to see the sites of Budapest.

LOVED the area around the hotel, that was one of the biggest pluses of staying here. The room itself was okay, the beds were super comfy but creaked. My bathroom also had a spider in it, but him and I were chill, and he didn't move for the 3 nights I stayed, I grew too attached to him to kill him. The breakfast was simple but got the job done, and the staff were helpful. :)

Great location with friendly staff! We arrived early with 5 rooms booked, and 3 were available right away, so we could leave our bags there until the others were ready. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and Lidl is just around the corner. The metro station is also very close. The location alone makes this place highly recommendable. As for the rooms, they could be cleaner and more modern, but considering the price, it's what you'd expect. We mainly used the hotel as a base for sleeping and showering, and it worked perfectly for that. Thanks again!

The room was clean, a bit old but very functional, the shower did take quite a while to heat up. The location was excellent, easy walk to the stations, great restaurants & bars all around. We had breakfast each day which was very good. Overall a good hotel & I’ll book again if I go back to Budapest.

This facility in unacceptable condition — and, more importantly, a serious safety hazard. *Most alarming was that the glass shower door in our room was unhinged, posing a clear and immediate risk of injury. On top of that, we experienced: *Mold everywhere in the washroom *Heavy calcium buildup and stained fixtures *Worn, detached, stained carpets in the room and main corridors. *Deteriorated room furniture. *Boken &/or worn lobby doors, steps, couches, corridors, and entrance These conditions do not reflect a three-star property by any stretch and were clearly misrepresented. Do not book in this hotel.

Positives: Location is good. Many sights/activities are walkable and lots of dining options around. Lobby is nice. Negatives: (1) Room was dated and neglected. Examples: Mold in bathroom, scuff marks on walls, mattresses were uncomfortable (likely very old), carpet had a faint odor. (2) No safe in room (3) No coffee maker in room.

Accommodating staff. Breakfast was ok overall (especially if you like bacon!), but became monotonous after 3 days. Great location. Near metro, lots of dining options. Had to set AC way down to move the needle-and this was May. Staff was conversant in English.
