Beautiful & clean inside and out. We loved our suite, spacious, relaxing pool, balcony with canopy bed overseeing everything. Room service was great, housekeeping was great, the preferred club amenities were wonderful, and the restaurants and bars were wonderful. Coffee stand was great walking down every morning to get the day started. Wonderful, friendly, informative, and helpful staff all with a smile. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Love the shower and small touches of several items people may forget to bring. The gardens, greenery, through out is beautifully designed, the palm trees covered with a climbing plant was gorgeous. Truly a unique, very beautifully thought out resort design. Thank you for an exceptional experience. We appreciate everyone.

For a major resort owned by the Hyatt company. The beds are awful and pillows are rock hard the food across all the restaurants was just mid. The sales tactic from the vip people was rude. We spent money to come on a vacation not to hear your sales pitch. Oh and the sales pitch 100,000 dollars to become a member. With 30,000 down payment. Hahahahahaha in what universe. Would I come back to dream sands and my answer is no. I’m sure every hotel has its quirks. But I just wanted to relax.

When I reserved this hotel it was rated an 8.8, I feel this rating is completely over-rated. The food is subpar (5.0) the entertainment was lacking (7.5), there was construction everywhere (3.0) and the rooms need major renovations (6.0). I would rate it a 7.0 at best.

Rooms are a little outdated but the view from our room was amazing. The hotel has access to a large portion of the beach and there were plenty of pools around without it being overly crowded. Plenty of bar areas with good drinks that are not too sugary. I don’t recommend room service as I noticed the food quality was lower than what you would get in the restaurants. There are also plenty of restaurants in the hotel with good service, drinks, and the food was better than I had expected. Is this the best hotel in the world? No, but with the price it was definitely worth the quality I received and this is a hotel I would come back to again.

We met some of the male waiters at World cafe and they were so-oh helpful and efficient. I would like to commend them. I wish I could recall all their names, but one was Oswaldo. We also had a female housekeeper that always kept our room in tip top shape - Room 534. We were so appreciative and tipped them for their excellent service! We had such a great time during our stay and plan to revisit next year. Loved this hotel, the food, the service all noteworthy! Loved the buffet - vast selections at the World Cafe. The only drawback was having to meet with staff to visit the other newer hotel. We felt somewhat pressured to meet with staff on this, but we chose not to do the tour because our time was very limited. It seemed like a timeshare type of push, although they did not call it that.

Check in was complicated due to them not having the 2 rooms I reserved months in advance next to each other nor on the same floor. I had also sent a message with the request before but never got a response. Food was ok. The asian restaurant is probably the best. Location was good!
