Property & stay was great. Very nice place with great pools , beach, & food options. Only concern was staff’s flexibility to help us transition a room from a tour to an extra day I booked. There refused twice changing previous agreed upon rates. Fortunately David the next day took care of it in a professional & friendly manner. His colleagues could learn from him.

First time in Mexico... my fault but even family resorts have discos and performers, dancers, magicians etc. on a daily/hourly basis. Not many activities or advertising and enticing fun. Alcohol only 11am to 11pm. Bars should have more bartenders. Not many beach chairs, or umbrellas. They have seadoos for $100 USD for 30 mins. No available beach balls or fun beach toys, or sports/games. Property is old, but clean. Employees are great. Pools are clean. Lots of day beds. Buffet is decent. The 2 restaurants were good, and easy to reserve day before. But if young or fun, I wouldn't recommend this place. I won't go back until I'm an old man, unless they get a fun atmosphere before that! Lol

Emporio claims to be all-inclusive, but be prepared for extra charges on nearly everything—room service, premium alcohol, and even the gazebos. Despite paying for an all-inclusive experience, alcohol service stops at 11:00 PM. On top of that, they don’t honor reservations made through Expedia, assigning rooms as they see fit. This was my second stay, and definitely my last.

I booked all inclusive and had proof with confirmation by an email but they didn’t except and refused to help to check it with the company that they partner with! They promised 4 time to get back to me about my lost stuffs and they only did after 5 days when I was at the airport!!! Food in the buffet is not deserve for the price!!!

First stay in Cancun. Very nice property. Room and facilities excellent. Multiple pool and bars and food choices. Beach is cleaned nightly. Lots of beach activities, surf dependent. If you want shopping or dining off property, go down to the bus stop and flag down a bus. Less than $1 US each way. Bring cash

Great little resort

Our swim up room was in an excellent location for restaurants and bar. However, the pools were cold and we did not like the food on the buffet. There was a ton of steps in the elevators were all out of the way.

This was a great place to stay. It’s aging but it’s well maintained. Food was great too. I found we had to repeat requests multiple times to get service. Access to the Hotel zone, restaurants, markets was good. The pools and cabanas are awesome.

I stayed here previously in 2019, it was such a good experience that I wanted to come back but unfortunately I can't say the same about this stay, The property was so charming and now it seems like there is new ownership or management and it has become very corporate. The palapa is gone and the staff are so rude. I did not feel welcome here at all.
