TLDR: Food poisoning, insects, and nothing above 2 stars by any means. This was one of the worst “all-inclusive” experiences we’ve ever had. Staff were snarky, sarcastic, and quick to charge extra for everything - including mini-fridge drinks. There’s only one small pool and no hot tub unless you pay hundreds for a “spa package.” Nothing like any other Hyatt property we’ve stayed at worldwide. It honestly should not carry the brand name. English proficiency was extremely limited. When we called housekeeping for help adjusting the room temperature while I had fever and chills after consuming their drinks, they laughed and offered no assistance. The lack of basic support, even something as simple as vomit bags, was shocking. The drinks at the pool bar (piña colada, lemonade, “Riviera Maya”) triggered three days of nonstop vomiting, fever, chills, and nausea. They tasted artificial -like sugar, dye, and unclean water. The buffet was unhygienic and low quality. Chocolate milk separated into powder and tinted water. Bread tasted processed and artificial. Vegetarian labels were inaccurate, and we were even served shrimp after asking multiple times. Coffee tasted like cardboard. Restaurants weren’t open for breakfast or lunch, and dinner waits ranged from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Food was undercooked (burgers, pakoras), bland or overly salty. The lobby and washrooms had overpowering artificial nauseating scents. Rooms were outdated and dirty ants were on my toothbrush.

Excellent location. Easy access to the clean each. Lots of fun activities at the Main pool area. Great spa facilities. Food could have been a little better especially Mexican Restaurant. Italian food was great!

Beautiful beach and great food. The staff there is above and beyond. Everyone is eager to help and make your stay enjoyable. Lots of amenities and activities every night. Very kid-friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day and the resort is kept very clean. Best coffee ever at the little coffee shop.

What an absolute wonderful place for us to spend our 40th wedding anniversary. From the time we arrived till the moment we left (9days later). Overall, it's a nice hotel. The pictures do not match how it actually looks. It's a bit outdated. I will say, though the food is really good. I wish they had a bit more of option for breakfast though. When it comes to children activities, I don't feel like there was much to do. I wish they would've had better evening entertainment for the children.

The hotel was not accommodating or willing to even offer any type of credit due to our group cancelling plans last minute because of the recent unrest in Mexico. We were travelling with children and elderly parents, and they did not care. Do NOT book with them, if anything happens during your trip, they do not care to assist you at all.
