Brilliant value for money. Great hot tub, beautiful room and well stocked with all the essentials. Would absolutely stay here again. Only downside is no front desk to leave luggage with between check out and leaving Canmore.

The Lamphouse is in an excellent location in a beautiful town. Our room was clean, comfortable and had beautiful mountain views. Check-in and out was straightforward and it was good to have our own front door. We would definitely return.

Lamphouse is all about location. You really can’t get closer to downtown Canmore where all the coffee shops, restaurants and stores are. There’s parking within the facility so there is no stressing about finding a spot to park. Place is clean and quiet, nice mountain views from the hot tub. Front desk area could / should be nicer since its customer’s first impression of the place. It was looking quite rough and did not reflect the accommodation. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful.

It was very noisy and the hot tub was closed almost the entire time we were there. In the morning when it opened they started blowing dust everywhere from sweeping parking lot.

Great place to stay for a night, close to walk in town. Bed was comfy! We booked the pet friendly room as that’s all that was left, even though we didn’t have a dog and you wouldn’t even know it was a pet friendly room.
