Great get away.

The property was amazing. The service in the restaurant was top tier, thank you Charles! It is a bit of a walk to get to the beach however the walkway was nice and made the walk easier for the elderly family that was with us. The kids really enjoyed the tram rides to the main pool and they had an absolute blast in the pool. The only negative is that we asked for an extra hour for check out and were denied. That seems to be a pattern with Holiday Inn resorts. We weren’t asking for an excessive amount of time. Check out is 10 am which in my opinion is very early considering check in is 4pm. We only asked for 11 and were told no. The hotel was not busy at all so we feel they could have accommodated us. We will definitely return in the near future.

Trash, overflowing for three days down by the beach/walk path, hot tub didn’t work for half hour. Stay escalator didn’t work at all. One of the elevators was broke for two days then we left. Not sure if they ever got it fixed. The staff was great. The texting between me and front desk was a great plus to get info whenever I needed it! Love that option. Didn’t care for the 18% tip on top of every purchase automatically. Even for just a bottle of water Pool and lazy river was great one reason we picked this place to stay
