The hotel was cute and in a great area. It’s worth it for the price point in this area. Downside is the rooms were very compact and the staff seemed a bit unwelcoming.

This hotel is very centrally located and served its purpose for our needs - it hit the basic necessities, walkable location, clean, a place to sleep. As other reviewers had mentioned, the place is not well maintained. In our room, one of the balcony doors was detached from one of the hinged, making it challenging to open/close. Once we got it closed, we left it that way for the duration of our stay, making this nice feature un-useable. One of the bedside lamps had become loose from the wall and was tilted crooked. The mirror on the wall had a pretty significant crack on bottom-half. The room also did not come with iron or coffee-maker (pretty standard appliances included in 3-star hotel rooms). It was fine and suited our needs but certainly not likely the best option.

We loved our stay. They kept our luggages in the morning before check in and after check out, and we got a free room upgrade do to a funny story, so the room was nice and big, and not facing the street so it was calm.

Location was great. Room was very large. Unfortunately it was very loud outside. It was a weekend and people were right outside our window until very early in the morning. I think this is the down side of a very good location.I really enjoyed our stay otherwise, would just request a quite room next time.

The best thing was the location...it's perfect. Easy access to everything & lots of options for food, shopping, sightseeing & transportation just steps away. Otherwise a decent hotel: clean, safe, convenient. The staff was well... courteous enough & available, but I wouldn't consider them all that friendly or service oriented. It was more like they were there if and when you needed them. A very decent option if one wants a good location to stay in Lisbon.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful city

Visited with a couple of friends and had a lovely few days. Our room was very nice with plenty of room, great shower and great location. It is a busy part of town but we loved listening to the buskers outside our window.

Wonderful

In the heart of a square with outdoor, tented restaurant and buskers. Small elevators but room for four people. Breakfast room was very grand like a ballroom. The breakfast buffet suited everyone—various eggs, beans, bacon/ham, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit and even desserts! Delicious coffee.

Typical old charm European hotel. Excellent location with public square, blue and green line metro, 12e and 28e trams just out front of hotel. Close to the Convento and Elevator Justa. Lots of dining options within 2 min walk incl McDs and Subway. Good value. Pleasant staff.

Location of the property is really good. 1 min from metro station. Walkable to many attractions. Property cleaniness is pretty good except for some sewage smell in the late afternoon/evening around the lobby area. Overall the location of the property is unbeatable.

Only issue was during our check in with a female staff Who wasnt very helpful. A standard room is very small and ita like an attic. If you book here make sure to choose superior. Inhave to thank the hotel manager for changimg us into a superior room. He was very helpful. Otherwise we were very happy there.

We checked into the hotel during the power outage. Things were crazy but the check in staff were calm, helpful and welcoming. The place itself is a bit run down but it was clean and really well located. All the staff were great.
