i just stayed at the hotel and didn't sleep because the AC didn't work, the front desk said they knew this was an on going issue and that theirs nothing they can do for me in way of compensation for not sleeping, 24.5 degree C is not a luxury experience, I've stayed before even last year and enjoyed it, but not sleeping when thats literally the point of the hotel and then told by a rude check out lady " you should have called maintenance at 3am" even though she said "we are in the middle of updating our ac amd won't be done until the fall and we can't do anything about it" so why the f wouldn't you let us know amd then when we say something you say ohhh call maintenance.... , this has happened where a room has had an issue and they aren't dismissive and actually blame me for not calling maintenance in the middle of the night as the issue even though that contradicts the entire statement from the same person saying the ac units aren't functioning properly and are to be upgraded?
