Clean hotel in the business district. Strange room layout which didn’t suit us. Shower suddenly went scolding hot midway through the shower and didn’t cool down for several minutes. The concierge made an announcement directly into our a room via a tannoy in the ceiling, like an Orwellian Star Trek computer. Very weird.

The best description would be to picture living in shoebox. There is no storage space or fridge. The outside coffee machine is a good idea I guess. There is a TV between the 2 double beds so you have to either squeeze between the first one to get to the second one; or roll over the first bed. The restaurant prices are extremely expensive. The breakfast was reasonable.

Spent two nights at this hotel. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room set- up is pretty cool. Room was clean and comfortable. Will return to this hotel when I revisit Cape Town in January.
