Highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to capri. In the heart of everything you want to see in the square. The breakfast was amazing and yummy. The pool, the staff and restaurants were just as amazing. Will be referring people to this location

A fantastic hotel and location. This was our honeymoon trip to Capri. Perfect location within walking distance to everything. The hotel was spotless, clean, pristine. Staff were polite and friendly. The pool is beautiful and the views are perfect. Stay here! It's wonderful.

I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mamela. The rooms are MASSIVE, newly renovated, and the pool is SPECTACULAR. Even more impressive though is the outstanding service this hotel provides. The concierge went above and beyond to help us make reservations and honestly we would have missed our ferry and therefore our flight back home without their help in the morning. The service alone I think should make this hotel be ranked 5 stars. Thank you for making our stay in capri unforgettable!!

Very Poor service! First of all, we arrived and we weren’t met with a friendly greeting or a fresh bottle of water for that matter. They didn’t bother to give us any hotel info.. ie) pool, gym etc…The staff never greeted of when we walked by the lobby. We had a beautiful spacious room with a small terrace and loungers, but there was loud banging coming from the floor above us. We were really frustrated with the water pressure from the shower… it was literally trickling water…. I couldn’t get the shampoo out of my hair. I mentioned this issue to the front desk and the young man at the desk said he would leave a note for the manager..When we checked out they wanted they charges us for extra water, because we were only allowed 2 bottles per day .. so I mentioned the shower issue and the other person at the desk said that he didn’t see any note and told me to email the hotel about my issues… I did and have not received a response yet. Our breakfast was included with our room rate, but there wasn’t a great or fresh selection, and that was also lacking service. This type of treatment and service is not acceptable for Capri, at a beautiful and expensive hotel. It’s a shame because the property is beautiful. Our friends were staying close by at Minerva, and we went to visit for lunch and aperitif . We were met by the staff and owners with a very warm welcome, and we weren’t even their guests. This hotel lacked service and hospitality big time.. not acceptable for the price

The hotel was excellent. Front desk ladies had attitude . Very cold did not communicate well. I loved the pool the breakfast . I would have given 5 star but the front desk ladies made me feel not welcomed and did not communicate well . Very proud of themselves. I overall recommend the hotel
