Hotel needs updating. It is one the worst hotels for the price I have ever stayed in. Housekeeping had to be reminded to clean. Had to ask front desk for basic services.

It was PERFECT for a 3-night husband-wife getaway. Visitor center and buses were directly across the street. A great music venue is about 40 yards away. King Street is only about 100 yards away. Restaurants abound. Great lobby area. Breakfast more than adequate. It couldn’t have been any better.

Within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. The big plus is the hotel is right across the street for Grayline Bus Tours. Park the car and no need to drive until you check out.

Will Definately Be Back!

Chose the Hampton Charleston Historic District because of close proximity to the SEWE Exposition and because it was pet friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. And my Black Lab felt right at home.
