Great location for visiting Chartres Cathedral

Really nice hotel in centre of Chartres, a few minutes walk from the Cathedral. On-site car parking (€8 per day). Slightly confused by "Timhotel" name as it also had "Hotel Chatelet" sign which wasn't mentioned on our booking! Recommend Restaurant Serpente alongside the Cathedral #for Dinner & Breakfast#. Do not miss the free nightly "Son et Lumiere" projected onto the Cathedral when it gets dark. Also the climb #298 steps!# up the Cathedral Tower gives a good view of the City in the Daytime.

Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique de la part du portier de nuit et proposition de pouvoir laisser la voiture plus longtemps dans le parking de l’hôtel afin de pouvoir visiter sereinement la cathédrale et le musée international du vitrail MERCI

Sehr schönes Hotel; sehr zentral gelegen.

Pros: Das schöne Deluxe Zimmer und der Blick vom Bett aus auf die Kathedrale.
Cons: Mehr Kleiderbügel und evt. Daunenduvets? Wäre schön für diese Preislage......
Die grosszügigen Deluxe Zimmer sind ruhig gegen den Garten und mit Blick zur Kathedrale ausgerichtet. Vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zwei Minuten zum Bahnhof und ein paar Schritte mehr zur Kathedrale.

TIMHOTEL 4*

Bonne situation. Accueil excellent et de bons conseils. Par contre, literie très dure - Flexible de douche percée - Protection latérale de baignoire inefficace. Isolation entre les salles de bains inexistante.... (j'entendais très nettement la conversation de la chambre en face. Heureusement cette chambre était occupée par de la famille...) On ne peut être que déçu pour un 4*

1 nuit à Chartres

Bien situé, parking (indispensable dans le quartier). PERSONNEL TRÈS AGRÉABLE. En revanche 4 étoiles...non ou lorsque l'isolation phonique sera refaite, par exemple...on entend très bien la chambre du dessus.
