They were hosting a gala the night we arrived, and with the marble floors was very loud for a short period of time in the lobby. Other than that, this was an exceptional experience.

Noisy and sounded like staying on a pirate ship!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was lovely and welcoming. We had in-room dining for breakfast and it was delicious and on time. We also visited the pool area which had been recently renovated and that was lovely as well. However, the room we were in was noisy all throughout our stay. It was not the best weather so each time the wind blew outside, it sounded as if something was in our vent and banging on the door. We spoke to the front desk about it and they said it was due to the weather- and being on such a high floor. And also that it would stop as the weather cleared up. Well the weather cleared up, but the old rickety ship sounds did not. All through the night. We spoke with another guest leaving who stayed on the floor below us and they did not experience the same thing. I would not expect for the price of a room, for it to be so noisy and sound like it needed renovations. When we come to Chicago, we stay at 5 star hotels but we will not be returning to this one. I wish more had been done or we had been offered a new room. I cannot believe each room makes that noise- in the Windy City no less!! No one would stay there as you cannot sleep!! Unfortunate as everything else was lovely

This place was just exceptional in every way. The hotel is just on a different level compared to others. The gentleman who checked us in was amazing and so courteous and polite. Small details of the place and the people who clean the room are amazing. This place is just class. We had am upgrade to an executive suite that had amazing views of the city. Super clean, great location, amazong staff and just on a different level. Chicago is an amzing city but we want to return juat to stay at this hotel. 100 percent review and have zero faults with this place at all. Thank you for having us and treating us so well.
