Great Hotel

This is our go-to hotel when we visit Chicago. Union station is about three blocks away and there are many restaurants and coffee places near by. The Canopy restaurant is a nice place to get a drink and dinner and the bartenders Kevin and Paul are very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Great stay

It was a great experience. First time here, clean rooms with fridge and microwave. Nice big tv also. Only thing is hotels.com didn’t show the security deposit, it was $75 a night but refunded in Monday

Let me start by saying the hotel is absolutely beautiful, at a very affordable price. We just came back from a week in Mexico, but couldnt get a train that late so we chose to stay at this hotel due to being close to train station, and the price. At check in, we realized my husbands card has a limit and we had reached that limit. The hotel is cashless like many others, so we were stuck trying to figure out how to pay our incidental hold.. the lady checking us in, and both managers on the property worked VERY well with us, and they found an option that was possible. Without them, we would have been stuck. I can not thank them enough for their kind hearts!! I 10/10 recommend this hotel based on staff, price, cleanliness, location, and simply their kind hearts!

Quite place, but if want to get to downtown, it is a bit far walking. The canopy restaurant is fantastic, personnel in the restaurant very supportive and kind.

Very central. Easy to get to stations so good without a car. It would have been nice if tea and coffee was available in the lobby throughout the day, as it is in most other hotels in the US. There was no tea there at all and the coffee ran out late morning. Must be the policy because l asked for it to be refilled and nothing done.Room was comfortable, carpet frayed at edges. Small things, but this hotel is not cheap. You buy your own breakfast in the cafe. There are lots of places around selling great Chicago fast food!

The parking garage was confusing when trying to get out and still access the in and out privilege. When I initially asked someone at the front desk they did explain that I need to bring back the parking ticket from the garage so they can send me an QR code that allows you to go in and out of the garage and only pay $75. So that was frustrating being that I had to back out of the exiting of the garage park and walk in the middle of the night by myself to hotel to figure that part out.
