Call the hotel directly. Take names and call again

The staff at the hotel were excellent. I had booked through a third party app and when I called to ask about check in the person who answered (don’t know if it was this property or Hyatt in general) was awful to me. Told me I could not have my husband check in since the reset is in my name. So we switched our whole family plan in fear of this. Turns out that was not the case and the property staff apologized for whoever told us that. Beware of the people answering the calls and call back if you need to. Our whole plans changed because the person answering the phone was rude and incompetent. Staff at the actual hotel were amazing. So call back if you need to.

I enjoyed the stay overall. I didn’t like that the staff misinformed me about a microwave option on my first night however they did make up for it by providing an option on the second night when I asked again. Everything else went well until I received my receipt and on the address portion it has “Not provided” which is inaccurate. I’d like for my address to be noted for security purposes if an emergency was to occur. I provided an address both during booking and check- in which were also the same address.

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday from June 5–8! We traveled from Detroit and really enjoyed the hotel’s ambiance—especially the rooftop, which I was super excited about. It was also a plus having a really nice restaurant right inside the hotel. The only downside was parking. I prepaid $225 through SpotHero since it was cheaper than the hotel’s valet. But when we arrived, valet directed us to park in an area that wasn’t affiliated with SpotHero, and we ended up getting a ticket. Thankfully, the hotel stepped up and offered to cover it. So far, no surprise fees in the mail! Overall, despite that hiccup, we had a wonderful stay—and I would definitely stay there again.
