Review of a solo woman traveler: The best things about this hotel: The location is great, it’s a quick walk to a lot of the main attracting areas such as Nyhavn. The hotel is very clean, no complaints there at all. The restaurant looked very nice, I did not eat there myself, but it was packed for breakfast every morning, and it looked and smelled good. Check-in was fast and easy and self-service. Because of the self check in, I didn’t really interact with any staff so I can’t comment on that. All of the elevators were very fast! Things I did not love: There is no room phone where you can call to the front desk. There was a little walkway area to the side of the hotel, where teenagers would congregate every evening and play really loud music and smoke various things. One night there was also a man there who appeared to be intoxicated and was by himself, but ranting loudly. This bothered me because it made me feel less safe, and the walkway was directly to a little market just behind the hotel which I liked to frequent. But I was nervous, walking back to the hotel.

Overpriced. You get very little for what you pay a lot. Though the entire city is very expensive and it is hard to find anything which is reasonably priced. Copenhagen overall is a very expensive place to be on vacation. If I were on a business trip, I would never book this hotel. On vacation, it was the only place that I had found to be a little bit less overpriced than the other hotels around. Other than the cost, the hotel was okay to stay. We did not pay for breakfast on the first day but changed our mind later after we had found that any alternative breakfast in the city was even more expensive. Any other hotel where I stayed before was happy to keep my luggage after checkout for free, but this one asked for 80 DKK for a small locker. My recommendation is to look around for alternative places to stay. If you find nothing, this place is acceptable.

This place is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location is ideal. This is an excellent option for a solo traveler, couple, or family. For the price, in Copenhagen you can't really beat it. I would definitely stay again if going a trip to Denmark!
