The Godfrey offers very nice rooms and is in a great location to explore the city. There’s a rooftop restaurant/bar and a second restaurant on the first floor. Having a restaurant on the first floor was a very convenient option during my stay. The only drawback was that the room door had about an inch to inch and a half gap from the floor. My room was as far away as it can be from the elevator and we heard every conversation once guest stepped out. Additionally, The next door guest kept opening and closing their door to visit their family members (possibly parents) at the opposite end of the hallway. I’m mentioning this because the echo of the door slamming came right into the room through the inch or inch and a half gap in the doorway. This went all night and became annoying once I tried to go to bed. If you and your partner are concerned with privacy, ask the front staff about the gaps under the doorways. Perhaps, it was just my room but it made for a less enjoyable stay than it otherwise would have been.

My 5th time staying here. I enjoy the size of the suite and the staff are always super nice. I came in really late. Was given a small case of figi water. Always was asked if it was anything that I needed. Front desk offered more than what was required
