Solid hotel

Overall good experience. The hotel was updated and clean. Breakfast choices were good and produce was fresh. Reception was a bit shy, but overall friendly. Room service didn’t arrive till late in the day so we didn’t get our room refreshed during 3 night stay but did get clean towels.

There were ants all in the bathroom and additionally stains appearing to be blood on sheets and mattress cover on one of the beds so we all had to share one bed. I advised the front desk upon check out and they literally had no apology or even seem to be concerned with the issues being brought to their attention.

My room wasn't very clean: the table tops were dirty. Hair was on the bathroom floor and shower floor. Also hair on shower walls with old dried shower gel on the shower walls. Very disappointing considering the cost of stay. Not worth what I paid at all☹.

Shaky start as key cards wouldn’t work so had to be moved to 3 different rooms. Front desk was very kind and diligent in resolving the issue. Room had a small amount of hair on bathroom floor and in sink along with a used q tip in trash. Bed area was clean. Never stayed at Avid before and didn’t realize how small the king room would be. No dedicated closet space and very small seating area with only 1 chair. Enjoyed breakfast. Very nice staff. Probably won’t return due to small rooms

Did not like the air conditioning system. When you leave the room goes off and the same thing at night. When you come back to the room its 73 and the thermostat is set 66. Also gets to hot during the night. I'm guessing they think it's some green energy system but probably just another way to cut cost
