There was a water issue when I arrived there, which was out of the resort’s control and understandable. However, I received no notice before checking in. They guided me to purchase bottled water, and I found they were selling the bottle water in a vending machine at $3 per each. And the restaurant was also closed, the spa didn’t respond to my call. The water issue itself was unexpected, but I believe the resort could’ve provided timely notices and better actions. Plus, so-called “waterside” rooms are more expensive than the other side, but I was not able to see the water from the suite. After all, I was feeling like I got scammed.

The person at check in was friendly however she gave no information about the hotel. This was our first stay here and she could have mentioned the pool, outdoor hot tub, the restaurant, the fitness centre, the spa and all the other amenities...it was odd. As well, she sent us to an elevator that wasnt close to our room. It wasnt busy at check-in so perhaps she was new. The carpet in our room seemed to need some deep cleaning but all the rest was good. The bed was comfy and clean room overall. The people at the spa were super nice and friendly. The outdoor hot tub and pool (slide) was great.
