I stay here every time I go to Port Aransas for deep sea fishing charters, a couple of times a year. The staff is always friendly and I like that they have coffee and hot water in the lobby. The complimentary breakfast is always good. The rooms are always clean except for this time there was hair in the shower sink and counter. Not sure if the housekeeper had it on their rag or missed cleaning it.. Other than that, This is the ol faithful place to stay. P.S. This location is pet friendly with an additional fee.

This is our favorite place to stay on Port A. Always exceeding our expectations. You can tell the workers here really care about this place. The breakfast buffet is always so good. With a nice variety of things. My kids love it. The hotel is so clean. The beds are comfy and the room gets so cold so we sleep like a rock. We bring our dog, Lucy, and they are so friendly to her. The pool really impressed me with how sparkling clean it is. I’m super picky about pools and don’t want the filmy feeling like you get at some places. Again, they really care about the details here. We can’t wait to come back!

My room was dirty. There was an old french fry by the air conditioning unit. Behind the hair dryer door, there was a really old and dirty hand towel. The shower wasn’t properly cleaned, and the room overall felt unclean.

Given standard room for upgraded price

I booked through hotels.com and was not given the room I paid extra for. I was told I was charged a lower price by the front desk staff which was infuriating as I did not get that refunded amount by using Hotels.com. I wouldn’t have booked the room I chose if it wasn’t actually available. Everything else was ok.
