Nice but noisy.

Check in was quick and easy. Parking was no problem. The views from the room left a lot to be desired but that wasn't really a big deal. Our room was clean but there were several bulbs burn out. The main problem was that our night was NOISY. Not only were there people running in the hallway at all hours (1 AM, 3 AM) but the refrigerator was super loud. The price on the room was very fair

Practical and nice hotel in northern Dallas

This is a very lovely hotel, looks and feels relatively new, overall not fancy or with frills, but exactly as advertised. The one bedroom suite was super convenient for a 10 day stay, nice walk in shower (who likes those tubs and slimy curtains in USA?!), practical little kitchenette with fridge (no water kettle though sadly). The location is super practical, can be on the tollway in minutes, or even walk to Grandscapes (i know the interpretation of "walkable" varies among different people, but it was barely 10 mins). In the vicinity of the hotel are a few restaurants as well, nice BBQ joint, a cool cigar bar, some chain restaurants, and a breakfast place. The breakfast was the basic free breakfast one finds at american hotels, but it was always well stocked and the egg+meat combo changed daily. Depending on the day of the week there were different attendants, some really made a lovely effort to keep everything neat and tidy, and replenish everything (as well as bring out the porcelain dishes vs. the paper plates on the other days). The crowd at the hotel was very diverse, a lot of business travelers, but also some families who'd drag half the breakfast buffet with them into the elevator and to their rooms (I really feel for the housekeeping staff). Housekeeping is only every other day, which was OK for us.The reception team is very polite and courteous.
