Room was elegantly designed with really useful spaces. We had 4 massive checked bags (35 KG each) and the closet area accommodated them nicely (not unpacked). The staff were each exceptional and seemed to actually care about what you may want, anticipate your needs and offer help before you ask. If I come to Kotor again I will definitely stay at this hotel . Spent 5 days here wonderful staff , spa , beautiful views from our room and great breakfast . The hotel is in an ok location. Staff, mostly, is great. Peter especially was so very helpful and kind. The Lighthouse Restaurant was very good and really took care of my gluten free requirements. The two problems were significant enough that I cannot recommend this hotel, nor would I choose to stay again. First, the heat. The hotel is unbearably hot and there is no way to cool the room. This is not acceptable for a hotel that claims 5 stars. The second issue is the smoking. Smoking is allowed on the terrace of the guest rooms. This makes the terrace unusable for non smokers. The people next to us were such heavy smokers that we could not even open our terrace door at times.
