Hotel is okay, staff not very helpful

The check in experience was smooth, and the room itself was good. The pool was also good. However, the room beside us had a dog that barked continuously, even when the people returned. They were also very loud and woke us up numerous times. When reported to the front desk, they were very dismissive and did nothing to rectify this.

Asked for two extra towels, one extra blanket upon arrival in room. Check in took 20 minutes noisy from band students. Front desk staff rude was in line to get keys activated again front desk staff allowed a lady to butt in line in front of me took her service first then went upstairs with her had to wait 15minutes. asked for a late check out which I know this hotel has as I’ve stayed here over 100 times was told that they have no late checkout, but then told could extend till 1130 when I had a sick toddler.

It took three room changes to get a working toilet. Bathroom was falling apart in the room we did get, silicone peeling off the tub creating mold. Faucets leaked all over the counter. TV remote broken in half, tape holding batteries in.

Front desk staff was very friendly. We were placed on the second floor initially and the room smelt terribly of cigarette smoke and it was a non-smoking room. We went back to the front desk and they were able to move us to a room on the third floor which did not smell of smoke. Thee pool and hot tub area were dating and because it is on the main floor other guest and in our case homeless people came off the streets and were in the lobby staring in at us while using the pool and hot. The free breakfast was small but sufficient enough for a quick bite to eat. We wont be back but do appreciate the front desk staff.

The room was fine there was bottle of Spray left behind from the people who had stayed in there before. I initially requested a king size bedroom and got upgraded to a family suite which I would not consider an upgrade. Unfortunately the shower never got hot it was barely like warm both days we stayed. The hot tub was not very hot either. They do seem a bit short staffed as we waiting about 10-15 minutes for towels in the pool and no one was at the front desk so I went and got our own out of the towel room.A tad disappointed this time around.

We had a great time here! Extremely family friendly with a delicious breakfast included. Our kids loved the pool. We all enjoyed walking to the Olive Garden for supper. This will be where we stay when we visit Edmonton from now on!

We had a fun family day weekend at the hotel. It was super busy and the staff was doing an excellent job helping everyone. Fun pool and saw staff cleaning and stocking area. Breakfast option were good and tasty. The family room worked perfectly so mom and dad got some privacy at night. Great value for your dollar, minutes from our restaurant and shopping in south Edmonton common!! Thank you for the memories we will cherish a lifetime, see you next holiday!!

The room smelt terrible. The carpet was buckled and waved out. The sink did not drain and the tv only had the remote working for the forward button not back. No additional pillows or blankets were give. When asked “we are out sorry” is what I was told. Toilet paper and jolly ranchers were tossed all over the pool. Once I told the staff they said thanks but nothing was done about it.
