The house sleeps 14–15 guests across 7 comfortable bedrooms: 3 doubles (one en-suite), a triple with bunk beds, and flexible smaller rooms that can be twins or doubles. Wonderful relaxing break in the countryside

We stayed at this property for our annual family holiday. There were 14 of us aged 4 to 74. We wanted for nothing! The thoughful and kind hosts felt more like family than landlords, without ever invading our space. The location was great and we look forward to a return visit .

Plenty of room to roam

We stayed at La Grand Metairie to celebrate a birthday and had a cracking time despite the changeable weather. The property has plenty of space for a bigger party and lots of activities to keep even the teens away from screens. Unlike a lot of properties, this one is very well equipped - you won’t run out of pots, pans and crockery! And even if you wish to cook the most obscure dishes, the equipment is there. The hosts were very welcoming and helped whenever we had a query. The location is remote, but the bakery was a short drive away and we made lovely day trips to nearby towns, Mont Saint-Michel and San Malo. Having good internet provided was crucial as mobile network was a bit patchy. All and all we had a delightful week in Fuegerolles-du-Plessis.

Fantastic gite

Beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Feels like you're home from home. Pool was great. Lots of places to visit nearby and Annie and Jon were really helpful. Hoping to visit again soon with friends and family. Perfect place for larger groups of people, lots of room to spread out in.

Annie and John are very friendly and helpful owners who will go out of their way to ensure that you have a good holiday. All amenities are as advertised and we had a very enjoyable week.

Grande maison accueillante, avec de nombreuses commodités. Jon nous a accueillis avec ferveur. Nous avons adoré le salon cosy avec le poêle à bois. Un petit nettoyage supplémentaire des ustensiles de cuisine serait utile. Les chambres à l'étage sont un peu fraiches.

le séjour était juste parfait! La maison est extraordinaire pour un grand groupe : beaucoup de chambres et de pièces. La maison est immense et joliment décorée, elle est parfaitement équipée, notamment au niveau des deux cuisines. We hadden heerlijk de ruimte. Wel ontzettend veel spullen in huis, alles stond vol. De slaapkamers hebben wel veel kastruimte. Met twee woonkamers en twee keukens voor elk wat wils. Prima voor twee weken. De eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De bedden waren opgemaakt en handdoeken beschikbaar. Ze wassen de handdoeken en beddengoed voor je als je dat wilt. Voor uitstapjes moesten we wel vaak 1 tot 2 uur rijden. De stad Fougerolles is de moeite waard, evenals een wandeling bij Fosse d'Arthour. Verder de steden en stranden bij de kust. Mont St. Michel; Saint-Malo, Rennes en bv Omaha Beach zijn prachtig. Een dagje bij het huis blijven is ook geen straf. Met het zwembad, tafeltennis- en voetbaltafel hoeft niemand zich te vervelen.

Un très agréable weekend de l ascension à motos ✨

nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, le gite est spacieux ce qui nous a évité d'être les uns sur les autres, (11 adultes). le gite est très bien équipé, le seul bémol c'est que nous n'avons pas pu rencontrer les propriétaires à cause du COVID dommage!!!! peut -être une prochaine fois. je recommanderai facilement ce gite à des amis ou famille

Accueil très chaleureux, panier d’accueil offert par Annie et Jon. Maison adaptée pour une grande famille, avec nombreuses chambres, salle de bains et wc ! 2 cuisines, une grande salle de séjour avec coin salon + 1 grand salon indépendant très cocooning. Location bien située, pour découvrir pour découvrir différents lieux « Fougères, Domfront, le Mont saint Michel …. » Nous reviendrons je pense très vite… Isabelle et Samuel
