Great place. It is a little dated, but it is clean. The staff are great and is really good for the price. The only complaint I have ever had was you can hear every conversation in the hall while trying to sleep. The sound carries or the doors are thin. Not sure, but you really need some white noise at night.

Upon arrival everything seemed wonderful, nice room, loved the balcony, comfortable bed, but the room was cold no matter what we turned the temp up to it never kicked on, also that night there was no hot water for showers. We went to sleep thinking it would kick on but I woke up at 2am freezing. Went downstairs finally about 4-5ish to a man asleep at the front desk I said excuse me my heat hasn’t worked all night ( outside temperature is in the 20s) he sends security up to our room, he checks thermostat looks with a flashlights determined it’s not working tells me he will be right back. He comes back with an electric heater at this point I finally go to sleep 6ish. So this is just the first night. Saturday Morning maintenance comes fixes the heat, we leave the room to go eat come back first thing we realize it’s cold my son uses the bathroom flushes the toilet and it sprays water everywhere my husband had to turn the water off at the toliet. It was so bad the water leaked into the hallway. He then goes back to the lobby and they bring housekeeping and another maintenance person to do the same “fix” the first one did. Time has lapsed all this took an hour or so. I felt like the entire trip revolved around us having to deal with the room problems. Another thing was I received an email about 3 weeks before my stay to say the pool was closed I booked this room mainly for pool and balcony so that was already a disappointment but ok whatever the pool never closed!

The toilet was clogged and the EVS team came and unclogged it right away but n the first day. The parking was not good- the spaces were tight and people were almost forced to double park. The continental breakfast was less than awesome. The room was nice and the location to Downtown is great!

Honestly, the heated pool does attract a lot of the kids who were yelling and screaming all the way in through the night. A lot of noise at the hotel especially when we asked to be away from all the elevators and staircases. In addition, you risk your vehicle being damaged in the parking lot. That is what happened to us hence the low rating. Now it will cost me even more money to get my truck fixed. The parking is extremely tight and people do not necessarily watch what they're doing when they Park beside you, so a word of caution. On top of that it was an extra 50 bucks to park, as they charge per day. Outside of that it was located in a great spot, the food was always good in the mornings for the continental breakfast and probably the best I've had, as far as quality. The staff was always friendly. I just have to ask myself whether I would take a chance on getting my vehicle damaged again, if I were to stay there. So not only do I have the cost of the parking, the cost of the room, I now have to get my truck fixed from somebody who damaged it.

The parking deck is a nightmare. Cars have to park so close together, I have new scratches on my car. This definitely needs to be improved. I talked to many guests who were having the same issues. The tub in our room did not drain properly so every time we took a shower, we stood in ankle deep water. Breakfast is good and staff in breakfast area very nice and accommodating.

The place was super clean, kind and friendly front desk services, the only observation could be the breakfast having more healthier food and gluten free options for celiac people like me. But very recommendable place for stay. I will choose it again for sure.

The room was less than pleasant, there was a loud humming/vibrating noise the entire timeakonf of hard to get to sleep. The bed was as hard as a brick and made awful noise like it was breaking when you rolled over. The toilet was like a toddler toilet, I had to help my hubby, who's had knee surgery, get up off of it every time due to it being so low to the ground. The tub had mildew around the drain and faucet. Just disgusting overall and won't be back!

The room was clean and comfortable. The facility is a bit dated. The fitness center was four pieces of antique equipment, and only two were operational. The parking deck had so much standing water we had issues parking our bike and exiting.

The Edgewater Hotel is an older hotel, but frankly, I didn't expect it to be as rundown as it was. While the staff and breakfast were bright spots, the maintenance and condition of the facility were unacceptable. Major Issues: Parking and Room Condition The problems started immediately in the parking garage. It looks like it should be condemned. There was constant water dripping from the ceiling (source unknown), and tons of dirt and silt accumulated in the parking spaces. It is also super tight; if you're driving a truck or larger vehicle, maneuvering is a nightmare. The rooms themselves had a distinct, unpleasant, musky, yucky smell. Adding to the sense of disrepair, I noticed the external HVAC units were constantly dripping down the side of the building. Pool and Staff On the positive side, the staff was genuinely friendly, and the breakfast buffet was great—my children loved it. However, even the pool area, which my kids enjoyed, seemed quite run down. There were big, noticeable gaps between the pool coping and the actual pool structure itself that frankly seemed gross and unsanitary. The friendly staff and good breakfast cannot outweigh the significant maintenance issues, especially in the parking structure and the rooms. The location is great and we saw a bear, which was fun, but I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Great place at a great price the only problem was the pool was closed. We seen around 8 bears at night walking behind the businesses across the street so that was fun to watch
