⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed at the Edgewater hotel, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was one of the best I’ve slept in while traveling. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection, and the staff made the stay even better with their friendliness. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again!

Labor Day getaway

We enjoyed our stay. This was the first time that we stayed on the strip in Gatlinburg. The hotel is located in a very good area. Easy access to everything. The only thing that I would recommend is that the mattresses could be a little more comfortable. They are very firm.

Breakfast: 1) Would like to see more variety with the breakfast. It was pretty much the same thing every day. For example, maybe you could alternate between bacon and sausage. Perhaps one day offer waffles. 2) Would like to have seen different kinds of creamers for the coffee (ex. vanilla, hazelnut), rather than just plain. 3) The breakfast setup was very clean. From the plastic silverware dispenser to the pancake maker, we noticed much less mess than we usually see at other hotels. We appreciated this very much : ) 4) Loved the milk that was offered : ) Pool: 1) There probably needs to be some sort of signage in the pool area saying how to turn on the jets for the hot tubs. Not many of us knew how to turn these on. And we understood there was some issue with the jets not always working (which, we hope this issue gets resolved), but when they WERE working, it was wonderful : )... Having an inside and outside pool was a real draw for us : ) Service: 1) The service was incredibly friendly. 5 stars for that : )

It was a nice hotel. Just be warned they charge an extra $16.46 ($15 w tax) per day to park in their parking garage. This started in June. I did not book on their website so did not know this. They say you can park on the street but there are never any spots available! It’s downtown Gatlinburg. There are other nice hotels downtown and they don’t charge.

I liked the location which was easy walking distance from the main shopping/restaurant area. What was infuriating was a $15/day charge to park in the hotel parking garage. In all my years of travel, I have never had to pay for parking as a hotel guest. This charge alone means I would never stay there again and would not recommend this hotel to any traveler. The room itself was nice, however, the refrigerator was loud and the microwave had an annoying continuous clicking sound when not in use. I had to unplug it when not in use. On a bright note, the maid service was excellent. Two more negatives: maintenance had to come every other day to reprogram the tv because it kept disconnecting to the Internet, and there is only one elevator in the entire eight story hotel, sometimes causing long waits, particularly with guests & housekeeping using the elevator during the day. As stated earlier, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Entry into the hotel was open to all. Didn’t see any security cameras, security guards, no key entry - full access to every part of the hotel. Didn’t feel 100% safe. Rooms were clean but outdated, some areas of the room were worn. When I booked the hotel, parking was free. When I checked in, now there was a daily charge. That should have been waived! Parking garage was full and parking was very tight. Not enough parking for actual hotel guests. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was great. Easy access to all shopping and restaurants. Most likely will not recommend or stay at this hotel again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river and mountains and was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great amenities, the pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Free breakfast is always a plus when on vacation and the hot food was good, the only thing i would have liked is if there would be a little variety of hot foods each day, not the same 3 items (biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage patties) all week as it got a little boring but there were other options for cold food as well. Overall we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay
