This hotel was just what I was looking for traveling with 2 kids and spouse. It was close enough to attractions- most everything was walkable but it was far enough away that it was quiet at night. It has character and feels like Gatlinburg, versus a big chain. The indoor/outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs were great. Pool is small but has a water slide and was fun. The only part that was aggravating was how slow the elevator is. But, if you're in a hurry just take the stairs. Front desk staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again!

I Like the room with own jacuzzi but i dont like the noise it creates.. you can hear the jet setter of the other room’s jacuzzi ..you cant have a good night sleep especially when they used it late at night. The breakfast is average. Overall we still had a great stay.

Flat pillows and mattress that was the equivalent to a cement slab with a sheet on it. But breakfast was fantastic and the employees were excellent!! Pool was small but very cute. The location is great.

Very conveniently located to downtown. It’s an older hotel but is maintained very well. The slightly more expensive rooms on the water side were nice because you could hear the water but they also overlook a large parking lot. But the convenience of being able to cross that lot and be on the street where everything is located more than makes up for that. And they aren’t kidding about bears in the area. We were able to watch one walk along the river searching for things twice. Unfortunately not everyone uses trash cans….

My Son had a basketball tournament at Rocky Top and we wanted something that was close and close to downtown. We got both at Egdewater so convenient to everything. Very clean and friendly staff we didn't get to chance to swim but we did go look. Very clean as well. We love the scenery of the Mountains! We loved that we didn't have to pay for parking downtown we just walked from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again! Highly recommended

Lovely stay !

Loved this hotel and location ! We didn't have river view but had top floor, jetted tub, fireplace room. Jetted tub was small but nice ! Hot water and good jets ! The location to walking everything Gatlinburg can't be beat ! Very close to Sugarlands & Sky Bridge ! The breakfast was pretty good ! Same every day. Hotel clean, 2 hot tubs = nice, pool kinda chilly but not bad. Kids were loving it ! A nice river walk right outside ! Nature.. fishing.. I'd be wary of booking in season because of a crowded parking garage. Mid March was perfect ! It would be a little unnerving if all those narrow spaces were taken with cars passing eachother in the close quarters..
