Excellent location near main railway station, but still in a comfortable & safe area. Short walk to the beautiful lakeside and Lange Reihe where there are lots of little cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Breakfast buffet was fresh and had plenty of options. This is my second stay in a Novum Hotel in Hamburg. This hotel is perfect for single and accompanied travellers. 2 minutes from the central railway station and there are many eating places in the neighbourhood. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast is delicious.

Good value for the location. Mere steps from the Hamburg main train station and a host of attractions, including the charming St. Georg neighbourhood. Very quiet rooms that are basic but comfortable. A nice stay

The stay was great. The staff was positive and hospitable. The hotelroom was clean and simple - as was the bathroom. The hotel is close to everything like shopping, museums, the trainstation and so on. Parking in front of the hotel is paid parking from 9 to 22 and from 22 to 9 it is free parking.

Great location for the Hamburg central station

The room was clean and large, with plenty of storage, but a bit spartan, it could have done with some pictures on the wall or other decoration. Breakfast was continental with a fair choice. Great location just round the corner from Hamburg Central station

We stayed for one night on our way to Copenhagen. The property is well managed, elevator is a bit small but working as it's supposed to be, room and bathroom are clean. Mattres is in a good condition. Our room was facing the opposite of the Hbf and it was nice and quiet in the evening.

Good and genuinely German experience

Really nice hotel in an ok area very close to the station. Hamburg is quite messy so it is important to choose a hotel on the right street, which this is. Clean but a bit worn, no view and small elevator. Good breakfast in nice dining room. God Wi-Fi. Nice walking areas with just the right distance to both Hafencity and Planten and Blumen.
