We were greeted with the warmth of the Aloha spirit at the front desk all the staff was great!! I booked and purchased my stay through Expedia, to find on my credit card statement that the hotel double purchased the same stay. Now I have to deal with making multiple calls to hopefully get this cleared. Seems to be reoccurring issues here on Big Island. Smh

It wasn’t terrible but it was unacceptable for the amount of money I spent for only one night. Spent about $275 on hotels app. Not only it was a bit expensive but we didn’t have a microwave in our unit when the app said microwaves. We had leftover party food but never had a microwave so that was unfortunate. Shower’s didn’t have any ventilation for heat to pass through, the bed sheets and pillow casings weren’t washed good. Could smell whoever was on it before and it was very uncomfortable to smell, and also THERE WAS ROACHES ON THE COUNTERTOP NEAR THE BEDS, UNDERNEATH THE TV, AND ALL OVER THE BATHROOM!!!. I literally had to kill it with my bare hands. This was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I tried to talk to the front desk about it at check out time and they just said “we’ll let maintenance know thank you” like are you for real!?? No compensation, no sorry thoughtful. Made it sound like it’s a common thing but it was very disgusting. AC wasn’t blowing hard enough so the room got hot when it was morning. All in all very uncomfortable stay will not return to that hotel ever again.

Room was a bit dirty, some stains on carpet, ants ate my food 😆 n da bathroom floor was sticky/ slippery. I wanted 2 stay till check out, but due to leakage in building, the water had to b shut off. Now that its a wyndham hotel, mayb it should have the pump dispensers for soap n stuff in bathroom/showers. Overall it was okay. Just some suggestions, not complaining.

Everyone there was so nice - we had our choice of rooms, and took one with a view of Coconut Island! The banyans around this area are immense, and there’s also a lovely walk through the Liliuokalani Gardens right across the street.
