The staff were very friendly and helpful. However I think my expectations did not match what the property offered, and it was perhaps misrepresented. Perhaps its ranking is justified relative to the room price. The property is under the freeway, so extremely noisy. There’s also pretty much nothing within walking distance and they only have breakfast food service.

Dated fixtures and decor, very basic airport vicinity hotel. Not filthy, but not super clean either. VERY LOUD LOCATION DUE TO BEING SURROUNDED BY ELEVATED HIGHWAYS. BRING YOUR EARPLUGS UNLESS YOU ARE A VERY HEAVY SLEEPER! Poor breakfast, cold scrambled eggs and mashed(!) potatoes. Shuttle took way too long to get to the airport terminal due to other stops; plan accordingly.

The Plaza Hotel is right next to the Nimitz Highway. Building C is nearly underneath it, so traffic noise is overwhelming in Building C. Rooms farther away are ok. It is an aging facility so doors, floors, and walls are worn. The sink in our room drained slowly and the toilet needed a new flapper valve. The beds were clean and comfortable. We turned up the AC fan to offset highway noise and slept well for our one-night layover. I will try another place next time.

The room was very clean. Close to a couple of dining options. Good service great breakfast. Comfortable and convienient. $15 uber ride to and from peral harbor. It was great.

Part of this hotel is literally UNDER the freeway. Thats where our room was. Very loud traffic noise. This hotel advertises free airport shuttle. There is no shuttle to pick you up. I called the number listed for the shuttle 5 times and no one answered. The shuttle to the airport leaves only once an hour and does not start untill 7 am. There is no place to get a drink or any food served in this hotel. They claim to have free breakfast but we did not see it. The room was clean hence the 2 stars. We will not be back.

Close to the airport the shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. The staff at the hotel was very courteous and helpful the hotel lost points for the bedding being old to the point where there was holes in the top sheet if not for that I would rated it a four or five star.

We had a late incoming flight and decided to stay here to recharge before moving on to our next destination. Big mistake. The room was right next to the freeway, the door provided no sound baffling and we didn’t get the desired rest before moving on to the rest of our trip. Proximity to the airport is good, but what’s the point if you can’t sleep. I can’t recommend unless you are the heaviest of sleepers.

The room air conditioner was not working properly and when I called the front desk, I was told the AC in the entire building wasn't working properly. They did offer a fan, which we accepted, but the room was hot all night. Unfortunately, that's all that was hot. The water in the shower never really got hot. It was barely warm enough to shower. We were also unable to secure a late checkout, despite requesting it at checkin. The airport shuttle never seemed to be on time; so we went to the airport very early so we wouldn't miss our flight, due tobthe inconsistent shuttle times.
