The staff put us up in an "updated" room and it ended up being a whole different hotel that was about 8 minutes from the hostel itself; isolating us from any of the social events and overall location. The room we were in was not at all what we booked and no staff was at the location in the event of getting locked out or, for example, needing assistance and them taking an hour to get someone out there. While I'm sure the actual location was good, we will never know.

You get what you pay for here.The hotel was not perfect, but it served its purpose if you want to be close to everything. Parking is limited and first come, first serve. Our room had a noticeable smell, the A/C didn’t work, and we had to ask for basic things like towels. There was no soap provided for washing hands, and the neighborhood itself was not very quiet. The pictures online made the property look a lot different than it does in person. That being said, the staff was extremely nice and welcoming, and the general/common areas were actually quite nice. Despite the issues, the location and friendliness of the staff made it convenient enough that we would consider staying here again.

Not recommended rooms are so dirty not maintained well ,need a lot of renovation, too many dust underneath the bed. No elevator , the hotel is open anyone can go upstairs and be on your door Food is horrible and way too expensive, they would rip you off Not safe if you're a female traveler on your own

Location is good, but everything else is beyond "HORRIBLE". The three girls working there are polite, but this cannot be classified as a habitable building. It needs to be demolished and redone.

photos on line looked nothing like actual room. it was filthy, tiny, shower trickled water, dead bugs in sheets. however, most of the staff was quite friendly. sadly, it is not staff i will remember most. and i am not normally one to post negative comments, but this one...well, i feel i needed to speak up.

There was no television, they hadn't changed or made sheets, the curtains were ripped. The room wasn't ready or cleaned for our stay which was very disappointing. The only redeeming qualities were the location and the kind people.

The staff had been amazing. The best thing of the hostel.Would really recommend the place to anyone visiting the city. I’ve been lucky to stay here as aparently it’s the hostel with the best vibe in whole Istanbul. If you want to discover Istanbul night scene don’t miss the pub crawls on Wednesday. Great party and organisation. Breakfast included is very decent and views to the sea is a nice plus. The room was very clean and replacement of towels and soap every day. Few small cons; the lighting in the room was’nt great; felt really dark. Some common areas like the stairs are in poor condition. The hostel is facing a highway and the windows don’t insulate enough the noise and can be a little annoying.

A little worried going to such a small hotel but very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It did have a little bit of a sewer smell at times, but I cant complain for the price and location.

Everything was good but we were expecting a little more on the breakfast side. Also it would have been good to have an electric kettle in the room. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved the view from the room!!

Beautiful, Cozy Hotel

Loved this hotel from the moment I walked in- located in a very safe neighborhood that I felt comfortable walking alone in at night and smelled wonderful! The room was INCREDIBLY clean, and furnished beautifully with a great view. The breakfast room, however, had the best view in the house, overlooking the Bosphorus. Friendly staff and great 2-night experience.

Hidden small Gem in Big Istunbul

Good location but terrible hotel

We had to change our room as the room was in a very bad condition. Stains on the bed sheet and wall. When they changed us in to another room, I was having a shower and the shower door came off... So bad The location is good and the hotel staff are pleasant however the owner needs to update the rooms ASAP as it's a health hazzard.

Good location and very helpful staff

The neighborhood was great for visiting all the mosques and museums in Sultanehmet. The hotel is an easy walk from the tram station. The room was a little worn with some soot on the wallpaper and some mold in the corners of the shower. Otherwise it was what we were looking for. We didn't need to spend much time in our room. The staff were very helpful, always willing to answer any question we had or fix any issues that came up. Breakfast was typical of a lot of Turkish breakfasts with an assortment of cheese, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, jams, and juice.

Excellent service

Excellent services. Clean hotel but it could be better if the house keepers trained better. There are dust on the deck, window frame, mirror frame, bed frame. It seems the house keeper never wipe them off with wet cloth. I asked the hotel staff to clean them off and they did. The staff always try to make you happy by helping whatever you need. Location is good, walking distance to blue mosque, attraction, tourist area, restaurants and beach.

Nice hotel close to main attractions

The staff is incredible, they all make you feel just like home. The breakfast is excellent, from terrace you will see the Marmara Sea. 3 minute walk to Blue Mosque, and other attractions.
