"We had an amazing 5-day stay at the Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel with our kids! The location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Special shoutout to Mustafa, who made our check-in and check-out seamless and stress-free. He even surprised our kids with adorable seagull dolls as a hotel gift, which brought huge smiles to their faces! The rooftop bar offered stunning views, and the hotel's cleanliness was top-notch. Great time in Istanbul

Clean, professional throughout, and excellent service. The beds were actually comfortable, the breakfast buffet was worth every penny and the stay overall was fantastic. If I had to nitpick, I guess the window was a little dirty on the outside which was a small nuisance when enjoying the view of the beautiful Bosphorus river.

Really comfortable, but some improvements needed

As most was positive about the hotel, I’ll just mention the negative as a way the hotel could improve the customer experience. They have several cutting edge (for hotels, at least) electronic systems that aren’t explained in any way other than icons, and we are left to figure it out on our own… and if we don’t, we miss getting our room cleaned and resupplied. Plus the “nightlight” feature turns on not only some under cabinet lighting in the bathroom (very much appreciated) but also lighting at the top of the blackout curtains that light up the whole room and render the nightlight feature useless. Since some people may like that curtain feature, these two sources of light need to be on separate switches or a three way toggle. The bathtub in my room was downright dangerous for anyone over 60 or with the slightest knee or hip issues. It is 3’ tall with an 8” wide rim, requiring a person to hold onto the rim to climb in and out safely… no “stepping” out of this tub! And since the glass partition goes only 1/2 way across the opening (reducing the space available to climb in or out), water regularly sprayed out of the shower enclosure and onto the floor, increasing the safety hazard. I stayed 3 nights at this hotel.

Our stay had a rocky start upon arrival, reception couldn’t find our reservation and insisted it wasn’t made through Expedia, despite us showing proof through the app, including the receipt. After some back-and-forth, we were finally checked in, but unfortunately placed in the wrong room type. To make up for the inconvenience, we were upgraded for the last two nights of our stay, which we appreciated. Overall, the stay was okay. We were there for quite a while and ended up befriending many of the staff, who were kind, helpful, and really made a difference. That said, it was concerning to hear some of them express that they were being treated unfairly by their managers, which points to some internal issues within the hotel’s leadership. While the upgrade and the wonderful staff were definite highlights, the initial mismanagement and check-in problems did leave a lasting impression

Our family arrived hungry and later in the morning the day after we were supposed to check in due to transportation issues and the front lobby expedited check in for us and the buffet to make sure we could eat before it closed. Everyone treated us like the most important dignitaries throughout our stay - our concerns were their concerns. Amazing service!! Also do not miss the view of the first Bosphorus bridge and the mosques in the skyline from the top floors.
