This property is immaculate, and has everything you need. Jacuzzi, hot water, rooftop, excellent breakfast, hotel staff were exceptional and beds comfortable. Walking distance to everything. We will definitely return.

Very walkable to the Sultanhamet area. I would say it's on the outer edge and not in the middle so perhaps it would have been more quiet except there was street construction so it was not (not their fault). The front desk staff was very helpful to all of our questions and getting us taxis or explaining the tram. Breakfast was included and very good. The hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner. There is a small rooftop bar but it was unattended because of the weather. It was not warm enough this time of year. Anyway, there are many rooftop bars in the area. I would have liked an iron in the room and a make-up mirror.

Hotel Amira Istanbul is a small, welcoming hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel at home. Check-in was quick, and they were always ready with helpful tips about the city. My room was clean and comfortable, with simple decor that still felt warm and inviting. The bed was soft, and I appreciated small touches like a selection of Turkish teas and daily turndown service. Housekeeping kept everything neat without ever disturbing my schedule. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight. It offers a clear view of Istanbul’s famous skyline, with domes and minarets all around. It was the perfect spot to relax in the morning sun or watch the city lights at night. Each day began with a delicious Turkish-style breakfast. The spread included menemen (scrambled eggs with tomato and pepper), fresh simit (sesame bread rings), local cheeses, olives, honeycomb, and seasonal fruit. The staff served everything quickly and were happy to explain each dish. Overall, Hotel Amira delivers exactly what you need: a clean, comfortable room; attentive, friendly service; and a great location near major sights. If you want a simple, stress-free stay in Istanbul with a taste of local flavors, this hotel is a solid choice.

I stayed twice at this hotel . Bathroom was clean , the hotel is ok . The rugs were torn and dirty in the rooms and on the second stay I was given one of the only 3 upgraded rooms . The rug had a bigger tear this time and walls were with dust to the point of being able to write on it . Very disappointed. However the staff was fantastic and very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was maybe a 6 of 10 . I have pictures if anyone cares to see them .

Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast grilled bread with fillings were great. Rest of breakfast was mediocre. Bed was hard. Room was average and dated. Short walk to the blue mosque and tram station. Roof top had a nice view and comfy couches.

Exceptional hotel with outstanding service. We stayed for 3 nights. Great room, clean with very comfortable bed. The location can’t be better. Walkable to Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque, Arasta Bazaar and Grand Bazaar among others. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location in the historic area within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia& the Topkekia Palace. The staff was extremely helpful and all around friendly. They offered great suggestions for dinner. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious! Breakfast offered a wide variety for all. I highly recommend Hotel Amira.

The coffee machine in the restaurant was the best part of the hotel. Next the staff. Everybody was very friendly, nice and helpful. Location is great. Walking distance to major sightseeing places and if not close to the Tram station so it was very easy to move around from the hotel. The only thing is the hotel is just too outdated but typical for Sultanahmet area.

The Amira hotel is in a great location if you are looking to visit the main landmarks in Istanbul. The room was decent and the staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.
