Top Hotel, staff and location

The location and the availability of restaurants in the area plus their own buffet breakfast all represented great value.Upon arrival’Serkan’sat down with us and on a map drew the location of the sights and the easiest way (walking) to get to them. All the staff were extremely helpful and went far and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The room was large, bright, clean and comfortable with a terrific balcony. We will definitely stay there on our next visit. When leaving for the airport (set fare) they advised that we pay the driver under their supervision, before leaving the hotel to ensure we were not ripped off, which apparently does happen.

The hotel location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from major sites (blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc.). The service is excellent. They will go above and beyond to satisfy your needs. From making arrangements for a taxi, reservations, etc. The facilities are good and clean, not new or luxurious, but good. Excellent value for what I paid.

As a family of 4 with two older children - the room was a great size (we booked a family room which comprised of two connecting rooms, each with their own bathroom, with it's own entrance, so you could close off an external door and have both room doors open. The rooms were very clean and had lots of windows, the only niggle we had was that our room was overlooking reception, so we could hear any noise coming from people coming and going etc, but this was not a huge issue. The hotel is in a great location, 5-10 mins walk to Sultanahmet square, with lots of good restaurants and shops on your doorstep - which for us was great as we only had 1.5 days in Istanbul and wanted to see the cultural and historical side, so we walked everywhere. The breakfast was great, with a lovely lady making fresh Gözleme. There was also a rooftop terrace which had great city and sea views. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault anything and would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Istanbul.
