There were cockroaches in our bathroom and kitchen and I have videos. We cancelled the rest of our stay and went to the Hilton not too far and had a much better and cleaner experience there.

The room was fine, although the lack of access to ice at a hotel was a little bit weird. The real problem was they kept insisting that I had multiple reservations, and even though I went round and round with expedia, and the hotel, and I could find no such second reservation, they were insisting that I was going to be charged even though I told them repeatedly I didn't know where they were talking about. Not sure why they dug their heels in. It put a damper on the whole thing.

GOOD - Check-in = Extremely easy check in and totally professional greetings by the reception desk. Desk Clerk Jason was very courteous & Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Onsite Parking: Plentiful & additional multi-level parking 1 minute away Room - Considering the age of the site (One of the oldest in the Secaucus) the room was exceptionally clean with full sized refrigerator/freezer. 2-burner electric stove and dishwasher & a microwave*1.See concerns on Kitchenette assets. LOCAL AREA Under a minute walk to bus stop to and from NYC with frequent buses daily Less than a 5 minute was to movie theater, bars, shopping and multi-cultural dining. View: Great view of the NYC skyline and one should research the history of Secaucus to know how instrumental the town is to early American history. BAD, more so a concern and an inconvenience 4 ½ days no housekeeping service accomplished or even see in the facility. AMENITIES Unlike the cross town Stay America, the amenities were very basic; 2 bars of soap and a mini bottle of shampoo, towels, facecloths 2 plastic cups and a roll of TP *1 Advertised as a kitchenette to our surprise; there were no in room pot/pans/cups/dishes/utensils/coffee maker/tasters/dish rack or dish soap! The only inconvenience was going to the front desk to obtain the above then wait for the clerk to assemble the desired item into a broken/shattered properly not sanitized plastic tub. Went to Walmart to buy detergent. Microwave was a potential

The staff are friendly and polite, which is appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Breakfast is extremely limited — only muffins are provided, with no milk for the oats and not even basic items like bread. Room service is below standard, as the rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis. The location is also not very convenient or appealing.
