Lovely relaxing place to stay with marvellous hosts. Lovely restaurants that are walkable and you must, must do a wine tasting with Hervé in the fabulous wine cellar. Cheers!

Lovely Pool, Great Wine Cellar!

The location and pool area was lovely, and the room very comfortable. The highlight was the enjoyable wine tasting in the 17th century wine cellar. Herve went out of his way to help us with his extensive knowledge of the wines and the region, very much appreciated! Thank you!

Love this place!

I love this place. It’s the second time here but there will be more visits for sure. The hotel is perfectly located in the north of Beaujolais, close to Lyon and Geneva and is a small castle. Each room is stylishly decorated. Outside it’s like a big garden with a nice pool. So relaxing, like a retreat. Just adult guests and the pool is followingly no playground. Love the hosts Hervé and Natalia who are so friendly and make sure you will have a great stay. Take the opportunity to do the wine tasting, it is just brilliant. Finally, the breakfast is just fabulous. Highly recommended to visit Chateau de Janroux.

If we could rate this hotel higher than 10 we would. Excellent stay for two nights. Wonderful hotel and surroundings for a luxurious and relaxing stay. We loved it and could easily go back.

Sehr schönes Ambiente

Wunderschön gelegen, älteres, aber liebevoll restauriertes Schloss mit schönem Park, diskret und ruhig gelegen in schöner vom Weinanbau geprägten Landschaft. Der Patron ist sehr gastfreundlich und bietet Weinproben im Schloss-eigenen alten Weinkeller an. Besonderheit: Auswahl an Weinen verschiedener Weingüter des Beaujolais, und zu jedem Wein gibt es die passende Geschichte dazu. Einzigartig. Auch die Zimmer sind sehr individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen, besonders die Konfitüren aus einer nahe gelegenen Herstellung.

Endroit magnifique et reposant !

Lieu hors du temps magnifiquement rénové. Le jardin est splendide, la piscine très agréable, et les hôtes très accueillants ! De plus, on trouve de bons restaurants à Julienas (réservation conseillée). Hâte de revenir !
