Hale Kona Kai 212 is designed for comfort and convenience, featuring a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, and stove, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay. The living area is inviting and equipped with a television and high-speed internet, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.
Step outside to the wraparound lanai, where you can soak up the sun or enjoy a meal al fresco while taking in the stunning ocean views. The property also boasts an oceanfront pool, providing a refreshing escape just steps from your door.

This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear takes all the fun out of snorkeling, so it is best to rent your equipment while you are here.

An iron, hair dryer are provided, as well as a starter kit that includes shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and paper towels, dish soap, and a small bag of Kona Coffee to get you started. If you run out of anything during your stay, there are stores nearby twhee you can get anything you need.

We've stayed here several times before. You just can't beat the location. Being so close to Kona allowed us to not have to worry about parking because we could easily walk to anywhere on Ali'i. Ample restaurants and shops and a farmers market with fresh fruits made it very convenient. All in all, a great two weeks!

Yep, right on the bluff

Windy stay while we were here so surf blew onto the deck. The unit has a dining table and tall bar table/stools outside and I wish we'd been able to use them more consistently. The surf was noisy, too, but who doesn't love the sound of surf. Size of the unit and convenience was great.

Fabulous Location

This wrapped deck has an expansive vista of the ocean with breakers right below you. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and soaking in the ocean’s beauty.The reservation staff was exceptional and leaned over backwards to help me out when I made an egregious error with my online reservation. So happy to have stayed here and would do so again!

View is amazing

The sound of waves crashing beneath and the panoramic view is the best. The location of the unit within the small complex and the building’s proximity to town are great. It’s not exactly a full remodel as described, but it works. The shower has quite a low flow.

Unit this is vacation perfection in every way. We immediately felt relaxed and at home because of the attention to detail in every room. We couldn’t have asked for anything more to enjoy our stay. Don’t let the slightly warn appearance of the property scare you away from this perfect unit with a wraparound lanai affording unbelievable views. My wife and I stay in Hawaii twice a year for the last 40 years. This unit is now at the top of our list. It is so close to the crashing waves that you feel the water. Tracy with Kona beach properties was just fabulous to deal with. Very professional and quick responses. We rented three units in this complex, one was from casa go. Never again from them. Everything was great. Our favorite place on the island. Perfect location for us and anyone that comes with us. It is good to see that the maintenance issues have been totally corrected. The air conditioner was set to cold and it was too cold so I set it warmer. Never thought I would say that.

When On-the-Rocks is a good thing

This condo is lovely. Amazing views, very comfortable bed, nice Hawaiian decor, even a beautiful cotton Hawaiian quilt. Portable air conditioning in living and bedrooms worked well even on very warm days. The front yard has waves crashing on the lava rocks below, tang feeding, surfers lining up for a wave, cruise ships, interesting life in the tide pools and local fishermen who are very nice and knowledgeable about the fish and tides. So many things to love about this condo. The parking spot is very close. We rarely used the elevator. There are laundry facilities on each floor. Thanks for being our home base for an amazing Anniversary trip to Hawaii. M & A

We had a perfect stay at this condo on the ocean. Description was accurate. A few steps to restaurants and Kona center, but off the main road so no street noise. Everything you need was available in the condo: kitchen supplies, beach items etc. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you!

Beautiful view, comfortable condo!

The condo is lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The views were incredible, and we loved watching the sunsets from the lanai while listening to the ocean. Check in was very smooth. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Nice little condo

Perfect location for walking into town without being in the heart of it. Appreciated that the bedroom door was closed with the air conditioning on when we arrived. It kept the bedroom at an ideal temperature for sleeping. The lanai was perfect for watching the sun set.

We absolutely loved this place, the view is amazing. We even saw some sea turtles from the balcony, it’s very spacious and clean. Super closer to many different restaurants, and the parking space is so convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome spot!

My wife and I had a great stay at this condo. Even with the central ac out the portable ac unit in our room was plenty to keep our room cool. The breeze from the lanai was incredible and also helped keep the condo cool. 5 min walk to great bars and restaurants. Amazing luau next door. Will stay here again!

Fabulous location! Right. On. Edge. Of. Ocean. Great for watching whales, turtles, and other sea life. Corner unit fantastic. Pool area never overly crowded. Plenty of pool furniture for everyone. 180 degree view of ocean. Can see outriggers, cruise ships, catamarans, swimmers, and spear fisherman right from lanai. Nice to have a one bedroom versus a studio. A couple of things we did notice is that the tile floors didn’t appear to be fully cleaned (perhaps were dusted rather than mopped) and there was a bit of soap build up on the bathroom counter. We would be highly recommend the property and this unit in particular.

Perfect in every way

Wonderful property. Perfect location. You're literally ON the shore. Falling asleep to the crashing waves is beyond soothing. Reserved parking spot is clutch. Unit and all towels/bedding were clean and ample in supply. The condo is simple and mostly updated. No complaints whatsoever. The welcome package with Kona coffee/water/snacks was a nice touch. To those that complained about the AC not working- it's running at 1000% now. Could run a meat locker with it now. LOL

The Lanai of My Dreams

We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Location is perfect, can walk to everything. The pictures of the lanai do not do it justice - it's truly amazing as you are right over the water with waves crashing on the rocks under you and views of the ocean in every direction! The rest of the place is as pictured, a little dated but clean. The bed is really comfy! The central air is working fine and was really nice to be able to run at night to good sleep since I was there to compete in the Ironman.
