The hotel is in a prime location, its about 150 metres away from the train station, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel as comfortable beds & a good choice of food for breakfast ,the hotel is just a short walk from the centre of Cardiff, which as a good range of shops and bars

Good and bad points

The bed was lovely and the room was a decent size. The air conditioner was greatly appreciated in the hot weather. However, there was not enough space to put our clothes, so we were living out of our suitcases. There was no where to hang the towels up and not enough shelving in the bathroom to leave our toothbrushes out. There were also noises from pipework or the air conditioner that were quite loud at times. Having said that we really enjoyed our stay in Cardiff.

Convenient overnight stay.

Good budget option for an overnight stay. Very convenient for railway station.Rooms compact but more than adequate. Cleanliness good though slight whiff of drains in bathroom. Staff excellent. Would 100% stay again.

This property was convenient, right next to Cardiff Central, but quiet (could not hear the trains from the room). The area is perfectly situated in the shopping district of Arcades, between the castle and the harbour front. Only concern was them requiring my passport number on check in. I’ve never been asked for this at any hotel in the past.
