It was ok

When the reviews state it was exceptional, i was expecting the best. Unfortunately, for me, it was very middle ofvtge road. It was ok. The location is right next door to the station. Receptionist was lovely, who said she upgraded me, from what im bot sure. Sudbt seem much of an upgrade. Very basic, damp smell in the bathroom.

Superb Location

This hotel is perfect for a visit to Cardiff. It’s very central and next to the train and bus stations. Check in very easy and the staff were welcoming. Room is adequate for a city break..has everything you need. The rooms were quiet which meant a lovely nights sleep. Would recommend this hotel.

Great location

Stayed here a couple of times as location great. Car parking available at the train station with a few minutes walk. Rooms are very small and compact but compared to a lot of hotels in Cardiff if you can put up with that it is good value for money

Check in was friendly and efficient. The bedroom was compact, although the bed was a little firm for our liking. Air-conditioning was very effective in the bedroom. Breakfast was an adequate hotel breakfast.

The location for our stay was excellent. Contacted the hotel before our stay and always very helpful. Rooms were large, clean, lovely bedding and a good stock of tea and coffee. Excellent value for money.

Ok hotel but excellent location

Nice little room. Kettle was dirty so couldn't make a hot drink. Could hear noises from next room and above due to very thin walls. Hotel had power issues so no Internet, television and alarms were going off for hours. Security doors stopped working and lifts. Room key stopped working had to go and get it reset. Location was brilliant next to train station and 5 minutes maximum walk to the stadium. Main street was opposite. Very friendly staff with quick check-in.

Excellent location and good service

The hotel is in an excellent location, directly next to the train station, and is right in the centre of the city. The rooms are compact but functional, and have most of what you'd need. The staff were friendly and helpful as well, especially when there was a partial power failure whilst we were there. They dealt with it professionally.
