Food was fresh, prepared well and presented tastefully. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and courteous. There should however be signs warning of very hot water at the sinks and in the bathroom.

Lovely one night stay

Pros: Food, atmosphere, staff and service
Cons: In our room 17 the bathroom was a little tatty i.e. tiling stained and slapdash paint job around radiator pipe.
Location: Nice quiet location, we were only passing through on the way to 6 Nations so can't comment on things to do.
We stayed overnight in room 17. The room was very spacious and comfortable with all necessary extras. The bathroom was fine but is in need of a refurb as the tiling around the bath is looking a bit tired. The evening meal was superb, it's great being able to see exactly what cut of meat or fish you are going to have although because it all looks so good it makes choosing harder. The staff and service are first rate and the bar is excellent and has a great selection. We would very happily stay again.
