This is a very nice property in a great area (Kapaa). The location is fairly central and easy to access. It’s also next to the Coconut Marketplace which was very helpful. (The ABC Store has some good supplies, souvenirs and groceries.) There’s a Safeway nearby as well. The grounds and landscape was gorgeous, the room was clean and the room was fairly quiet at night.

We are Gold Elite members and owners at Westin. Chose to use Expedia because this was a lot minute trip. We chose an ocean view room with a king size bed. When we checked in a king size bed was not available. We were told they only guarantee the view not the bed. Really why have it on the website if it isn’t available? Def, false ad. We asked the lady (Virgie) at the front desk to upgrade us and we would pay the difference. Without checking, she said there was nothing available. I checked on line and there was availability. 2 days later, I complained at the front desk. The lady at the front desk Pio I think was her name said, there was availability. So what’s going on? Will I ever stay at this place or recommend this place? No way! And their breakfast was ok. Portuguese sausage were undercooked, coffee tasted burnt and their pineapple were hard and unripe. I felt nauseated after eating breakfast. Some of the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel was subpar..

Super chill spot. Great place for adults wanting to getaway yet also very family friendly - two connected pools, hot tub and beach water front. They have Pool tables, foosball and arcade games. Bartenders are very friendly - one in particular customizes drinks from local fruit!!! Super delicious. Would stay here again. They also free parking which was a huge plus since most places charge daily - it isn’t covered and they have a lot of birds, your car may be covered in bird droppings - other than that we were able to find a spot at all hours of the day.

The location is the best part about this hotel. Within walking distance of a dozen restaurants and bars. Service was fine; we checked in and the guy at the front simply handed me a couple of bracelets and said to enjoy my stay (I had to ask if he wanted my Bonvoy number and I figured out when I got tot he door of my hotel room that my bracelet was also the key). All the chairs around the pool are taken by 10:30 (perhaps they should get a few more). Nice music in the evenings at the bar. Wish they would have made up our room one day when we’re left at 10 but they never came by. Would recommend, but have the appropriate expectations. ☺️

Our stay was great! The good… most of the staff was nice and helpful. We especially liked the breakfast waiters and hosts. The room was nice, clean and updated and the cleaning staff was great. Activities were nice, mostly the yoga on the beach. The bike rental was a nice touch but I would be good if they allowed them to be out later. The bad…the laundry facilities were not working and inconvenient. The valet was a bit rude and parking after a certain time was limited. While the front desk staff was helpful, they didn’t seem very genuine in their kindness. Overall, pretty great! Extra tip: check out the luau which is held in a pavilion to the left side of the front entrance. Balconies on that side get a free show.
