An authentic Florida Keys experience

Very clean and nicely appointed. The setting is charming and very much has an authentic “Old Florida “ feel. We didn’t have time to use the pedal boat or kayaks but they looked very inviting.

I loved the location and sunset views! The only thing I really didn't like was there is no ice machine and our cabin didn't have ice trays either. Other than that, the staff were kind, the view and location were great. I was excited to use their kayaks, but the weather did not cooperate! Our cabin had everything we needed. The pool was heated and they provided extra towels as needed. We would stay again.

I don’t know how this place received a 9.2 rating. It was an older small hotel that had tried to update a few years ago. Without the air conditioner on you couldn’t sleep because of road noise. I will never choose a lodging from your site believing the ratings.

Great location but…..

Great location however that’s about it. On check in, I remarked that I hoped our room was nice. I was abruptly told-you have the room you paid for. Room was tired with an overpowering smell of cleaning products. No housekeeping during our stay. Room was sold as ‘pool view’, we couldn’t see out our window due to a tree so no idea what our view was! For the money I am sure there is better, with more pleasant staff and rooms that aren’t so pungent.

The sunsets are absolutely amazing and hands down the best part of our stay. The area on and around the property is very peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. Sitting near the water we saw some dolphins, a manatee, a lot of fish, and some very beautiful sunsets, we even caught a moon setting very early in the morning that was as beautiful as the sun setting. The room we stayed in had a full kitchen, 2 double beds, and a futon; it was a little bit dated but had everything we needed and was comfortable nonetheless We will most definitely come here again and highly suggest it.

Good stay overall

Nice stay for the price. The room had a very strong odor of cleaning products and the bathroom vanity had water damage and black mold on it. Beds were comfy and room was clean. The outdoor common areas were very beautiful and relaxing! Would go back!

The property location is terrific. The accommodations are dated. The water temperature is not very hot. When the office was contacted they said let the water run for a while. We let it run for 10 minutes and it still did not get "hot".

We were in Key Largo for a wedding and for location of wedding and price this motel was perfect. Very large room. Would like to come back and say longer. Nice property with a small beach.
