The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My only issue was that the security lock on the inside of my door didn't work. I notified the hotel manager at the desk, who sent someone up to fix it. After several unsuccessful tries, it was still not working. No one offered, but I did not wish to gather up my things and move rooms - I was only there for one night. I pushed a chair and a stool behind the door to block it and went to bed. The next morning, when I asked the manager if they would discount my room due to the issue, I was informed that since I had "said it was fine" that they would not offer any refund/discount for the fact that the door was unable to be locked.

Really good location. My 6'4" husband doesn't fit in a double bed, so we got 2 twins, which worked just fine. But something to keep in mind. Location was great.

Small, but perfectly formed

A really well located small hotel in the heart of Kilkenny with just 13 rooms, the service is excellent and the food is fantastic.

Good location. Small room. Pictures really weren’t 100% what pics were but ok. Shower was really small with nowhere to put things in shower etc. But bar/restaurant downstairs was good. Most of staff was very good.
