Absolutely disgusting hotel. The room wasn't clean, the towels were not clean. Nothing in the room worked except the appliances in the bathroom. The welcome letter they give you says you can dial 0 from any room phone to talk to reception, this is not the case it doesn't dial to anything except outside. The staff don't do anything about people fighting, slamming doors and shouting at 2am. You cannot call the desk through your own phone as no one picks up and when you go in person no one cares to do anything.
The aircon switch doesn't work so it's constantly cold and the single pane of glass means you hear absolutely everything outside - I am not sure if the busses outside were quieter than the noises in the hotel through the very thin walls.
The wood around the doors looks to be rotten, the place needs demolishing and rebuilding with entirely different staff. I didn't even want my dirty clothes touching the floor and I slept covered up due to the cold room and that the bed looks like it was just made and never cleaned.
I was a little wary about this place as it didn’t have great reviews, but overall it was actually a very good stay, check in was easy, the room was spacious and clean, The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but that’s personal preference, service was excellent, we had an issue with our door not shutting and a man from reception came up to tell us our door wasn’t shut right to ensure our safety which was good and made me feel safer knowing staff were looking out for guests, overall a pleasant stay and I would stay here again as it’s in a good location and reasonably priced.
The communal areas wete spotless. Our room 461 on 4th floor had instead of a window, a beautiful monochrome pu ture of the Lindon skyscape. We will definitely be back
Average room but excellent position for central Manchester. Very reasonable price but wish I'd booked a room with a window. Absolutely no air so didn't sleep well.
Immaculately clean large room with large TV. polite helpfull staff. Carpets in corridors were not clean and no food available.
Overall much better than I expected for the price paid.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Good Hotel
Arrived to find our room have just 2 double beds rather than 2 doubles and a single, however staff found a room for us that had 1 double and 2 singles which worked for our requirements.
Cooker breakfast is avialable at their sister hotel which is only a 5 minute walk away.
Great location for Arndale Centre and tram stops

Disliked: Room comfort
The room was clean but there was no windows or air conditioning so it was really hot and the fan didn’t really help.
It was a good stay if your looking for the cheapest option in central Manchester Picadilly. The staff are super friendly and warm, the room was cleaned however the temperature rheoighout was overall on the higher side for the room. Their was no option to turn it down but it wasnt too bad. Only downside was the bar was closed the entire time we were their even though they were advertising that the bar would be open till 2 am but we decided to go out instead.
I woulf definatley recommend this hotel for anyone and everyone who wants to save a bit more money on a trip and to let others know that if you plan on booking, try booking in the morning as rates are much cheaper than midday!
I would never stay here again, because I’ve never had to pay city tax to stay in Manchester in my life so that was new to me also my room was baking hot, I didn’t have a window room so which wasn’t nice at all and no air conditioning either also the layout of the room meant there was no plugs available next to my bed so I couldn’t charge my phone next to me really inconvenient.
Really did not have a good stay here.
The guests prior to me booking in (an elderly couple) was arguing and not allowed to check in because they did not have both their IDs, when myself and my partner checked in the receptionists were rude from the get go.
The room was like a sauna, shower didn’t work nor did the light so it was a very dim room. We paid to upgrade to a window room and it was just too hot.
The room with the window was much cooler but there was noise alllll night from the bar outside.
Would never stay here again. Was not worth the £107 for a hotel with no breakfast. Wish I booked the Hilton now.
It is a great hotel, clean, friendly staff. The only problem we had is that we booked a room without windows and it was so hot even with 2 fans on. It was difficult to sleep we will stay here again but we will get a room with a window.
